Unfortunately freestyle doubles aren't common any more and even less so are the noobs you used to farm in them. Good luck though.

You might as well pretend you are a brand new player. Look into the SOC, if you like the standard design (similar to the old board game, though not exactly, of course). If you like more unusual maps or want to try some of the newer options, I suggest playing a few 1 on 1 games. Its a good way to get a handle on the rules and how the new options work without such a huge time commitment. Of course, strategies for multiple player games differ from 1 vs 1, but that way you are least know the maps first.
