There should be an option to turn off the automatic notifications, but with so many things that desperately need attention from the programmers, this is pretty low priority stuff. It takes two clicks for someone who doesn't like the notification to delete it.

I'm pretty sure I never said it was "getting put back", but we put it on the left menu and said it would be added to left menu when you were in the forum as well instead of just game page possibly in the future.
Plus there is the smaller upper right button.

Yep. I will be "unsubscribing" the whole site. Because of being berated by players so worried I am messing up their rating.
You should have an opt-out for any game joined by a newby that might "mess up your rating". Not a very welcoming site.
