You don't? Maybe only a select few of us are the chosen ones, by the gods of natural selection (i.e. Darwin and Wallace), to feel empowered with such abilities prior to the evolutionist rapture.

Re: One of many problems with Evolution
Player, Thank you for your responses, there are several things that I disagreed with your flood of posts(pun) that it was overwhelming to honest, though I enjoyed the read.
So maybe we can discuss one point at a time instead of 50 (over exaggeration).
There are several people on foe list, if you wish to have meaningful dialogue, PM me and we'll start fresh as adults (notyou2 & BBS excluded).
Through many debates I have had a few tell me that they learned a lot and became stronger believers resulting creation vs evolution debates, has anyone had similar experiences? Even became a stronger believer in evolution. I have rarely seen where an atheist evolutionist has changed views. PM me with your stories.

Would you like to compare the Tower of Babel
and the World Trade Center?
Do you feel some stories are just that
or should all be taken literally?

Sure, what comparison would you like to discuss with the Tower of Babel and WTC?
Literal vs figurative: rather than a blanket statement, which would you like to discuss?
Re: One of many problems with Evolution
Do you feel the WTC managed to get closer to heaven
and therefore needed to be knocked down a peg?
I suppose it's possible that it even affected communication
as the World now seems as divided as ever.
Should the towers in Kuala Lumpur be shaking in their foundations?

Does one culture not having a record usurp the 25 other cultures that have a Great flood legend and mountain tops have sea shells and giant size clams on the top of the Andes are petrified in the closed and the layers of the crust of the earth are smooth and laid according to density from a flood, and no river on earth having greater than 4,500+/- years worth of sediment deposited.
The seashells on the tops of mountains come from when those mountains were flat and covered with ocean, WELL before humanity.
Yes, ancient people did have many flood stories, but the evidence you point to is not really evidence.
universalchiro wrote:Oh wait, turns out China does have a Great flood legend:
Great Flood (China)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Great Flood of China (Chinese: 大洪水; pinyin: Dà Hóngshuǐ, or just 洪水) (also known as the Gun-Yu myth[1]) was a major flood event that continued for at least two generations, which resulted in great population displacements among other disasters, such as storms and famine: according to mythological and historical sources, it is traditionally dated to the third millennium BCE, during the reign of the Emperor Yao.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Flood_%28China%29
Yeah, they have quite a few floods. The question was if there was a flood that obliterated all of China in YOUR time frame.
For your time frame to be correct, China could not have existed 3000 years ago... yet it did.

Oh I see your angle. Heaven is probably not physically far but dimensionally far. So the original tower of Babel probably wasn't close to reaching space, for man said let us make a name for ourselves. So it wasn't the height that was sin, it was the intent of self glory that was sin. our government brought down the WTC to envade oil rich middle east & take away rights of people, I mean terrorist crashed into the WTC and proof is they left their wallet near the rubble in prestine condition.
However, there is a movement today that is in the same spirit & repeating the same activities as the original tower of Babel. Strasburg France built a replica of 1500 century artist drawing of the Tower of babel. And they built the replica with a poster reading "many tongues, one voice", mankind has returned to rejecting God and making a name for themselves. These are historic times.

Well it's easy, just look at the fact that the US is the top exporter on oil now. This is all because of stealing oil from the middle east after we invaded. It has nothing to do with North Dakota going through a boom.

I am happy to debate, but I and others have repeatedly given you real data, links and information that you simply refused to look into, saying its "too complicated" or just "too much". There can be no honest debate that is so one-sided.
Understanding evolution is not complicated, but understanding and finding a lot of the proof is both time-consuming and very complicated. That in no way means it is false. Sorry, but that you cannot understand or cannot take the time to research doesn't make something wrong.
AND, in the end, this is most destructive aspect of the whole creationist movement and why I and others get even angry. See, the days when one person could, alone discover every or even most facts out there is long past. We plain cannot be experts in everything, so we have to rely upon the process that ensures those who DO have the time are publishing real and true information. That process is science, and it has worked.
Sadly, the IRC has made a study of subverting that process. Some nay-sayers are almost humerous. There are always a few wackos who want to claim, for example, that "newton got it wrong". But, they have always been in the fringe. By using churches, and arena typically not questioned, definitely not subject to anything like the scrutiny that scientific ideas and publications must go through, the creationists have flourished in a la la land of untruths.
I say only one thing in response. Christ does not teach Christians to lie. Denying truth, failing to find out truths that exist is a lie. Pretending that the scientific process is a joke, a conspiracy to subvert Christianity is not simply a joke, it is plainly the most destructive set of ideas yet to enter humanity, and to Christianity. There is no truth in the idea that the Earth is younger than a few billion years (the EXACT time line is open to some question, but not the general time frame), or that we cannot see the processes of evolution around us all the time. To believe these things false, you and others like you must ignore most real science and investigation.
And... for what? For something Christ did NOT declare was significant, for something that harms the Earth, rather than protects God's creation.
Shame on you... shame on all of you who see the truth and refuse to believe.

I have done more research than I might otherwise have done into evolution, its proofs and definitely into young earth ideas than I might have otherwise when I debated widowmaker, even lionz and a few others.
You, however ignore any real opposition, don't back up what you say and refuse to provide sources or more detailed references when asked.

Agreed. My interpretation of the posters was that Europe was intending to say something like we are finishing what the Tower of Babel did not complete.
[bigimg]http://biblelight.net/tower-painting-poster.jpg[/bigimg]
[bigimg]http://biblelight.net/tower-painting-parliament.jpg[/bigimg]
The Tower of Babel had a Queen, named Semiramis, she declared herself to be god in the flesh and claimed to be the Queen of Heaven. One of her names is Europa, which Europe is named after her to honor her, so I find it ironic that the building in Strasburg was built to model the 1500 century painting of what the Tower of Babel may have looked like. And the major event was the changing of the languages and scattering around the globe. So with the Poster saying many tongues, one voice, it seems to invigorate the intent of finishing Babel's efforts. Interesting to note, in the end times there is symbolic language in Revelation about a woman riding a beast, and they built a statue on the premises of a woman riding a bull/beast. Ironic imagery.

Also, the image of the woman riding the beast is on EU currency.

MH17 just fell 34,000ft out of the sky after being shot with a missile and they are finding some pretty pristine looking passports in the wreckage. There are even at least a few intact bodies.

Keep waiting. I know your method, you won't do your own research, just respond with rudimentary equivalent of "not aw", and you post quantity of words not quality of words.
Look up Queen Semiramus of Babylon on your own and learn something.

Truly cute.
Fact is, I have not only done my own research, I am published. I don't give out real life details here, but feel free to ask for references or explanations for anything I have written. I will respond, unless it is something truly inaccessible on the internet. Even then, in many cases I can refer you to a print source or location.
But keep on pretending you are being persecuted every time you get intelligently challenged. Just don't pretend you are acting in Christ's name when you do it.

Lol, you don't want to debate UC? Why? Because you know deep down that you are wrong?
Actually, I haven't seen you debate one person on here. You don't respond to anything anyone says that differs from your own misguided opinion.
