And Last year in anoeta 3-3. A draw was enough to make madrid lose the league. Sorry but madrid is always excellent at the pizjuan and always scores insane amounts of goals versus the piglets. So if you really though that the pizjuan was an easier game than anoeta for the real, next time chip in and say so, because I can assure you that it s not the general opinion and you missed a good chance to look smart and tell us " i told you so"

This liga is for the barça. It would really be awesome if the barça atletico could decide the winner with the rest of the stadium pending on the madrid game on day 38. So far the suspense is great.

I have to say it can be in the EPL too but all those match played difference is shite and no one sees where we re at..

This year's Real Sociedad is not the same. They are the same players (minus Illarra) but not the same coach.

Montanier was a very average coach in france and is a very average coach now again, he is doing terrible and his team Rennes is fighting to stay in ligue 1 while he was recruited to qualify for europe. Even if to be perfectly fair Rennes just qualified for the french cup semifinals yesterday, and they got a lucky draw as they will face a second division team. In the other semifinal looks like monaco will reach the final.. So if rennes beats the second division team and monaco beats guingamp (a weak 1st division) rennes is qualified for the europa league as monaco is already qualified for the champion s league, wether rennes wins the cup or not.
La Real is still 6th or so this season, so no, playing there is not 3 points in the bag. Would you remind me what was the score for the Barça in anoeta this season?

Ok.

I know I said they are the same players but they are not playing as last season.

Illarra is gone.
Vela is not the same as last year, he is in potential but the team is not playing as well so he doesn't give the same results as last year.
Griezman has been a little bit down in the last games. He started strong though.
Seferovic I don't know if he's still in the team because he doesn't even play any more. He was a factor last year.

Last season they were a strong 4th, without a doubt. This year they are a weak 6th. And only because Villareal has lost many points in the last games.

They can make amazing offensive plays, due to the quality in potential of their offensive players, and then they can make stupid dumb defensive moves. Real Sociedad will not play like Sevilla, they will try to have the ball. That will help RM.

Put your house on RM in Anoeta. I guarantee you RM will win there.

La real is no way as good as last year, no doubt, but mostly because they suck in away games. In anoeta the are 10-3-2 (sevilla is 8-3-4 just after this unexpected win vs the real). Griezman is 10 times the player he was last year and they have beaten barcelona 3-1 a few weeks ago in anoeta. This is by far the most difficult game left for real madrid. If you are comparing this to their last home game they have to play against the espanyol then you are clueless. Not to mention how the espanyol hates the barça their biggest rival and if they can throw a hand to help the real win the league instead of barcelona..

this one is for you taco (and anyone willing to forecast the last games of the top 3 in spain to see who will win the league):

http://www.marca.com/2014/03/30/multime ... 39847.html

if you guys know something similar to forecast the EPL finish, I'm interested!

if they all win all their games and barça vs atletico ends up in draw, atletico wins 95vs94vs94 that would be epic haha

other than this: could you guys give more than 2% odds for united to make it through against bayern starting tonight? that would be one of the most surprising results! did united and bayern face each other since that 1999 final by the way?

A draw for Barcelona and a game lost for Atletico and (assuming RM wins every game) the three teams would arrive to the last match with the same amount of points. That would be awesome. In that scenario, whoever wins the Atleti vs Barca game is champion, but a tie would give RM the championship.

That would be pretty awesome. I would definitely watch that match (and probably will, anyway).

yup I like your scenario taco.

so 1-1 in both games last night, atletico and barça always end up with a tie! definitely a tie in that last game of liga.
pretty good game by united; they are there when they weren't expected. they still need a miracle to get a 2-2 there or some similar result. bayern didn't play too good

tonight psg-chelsea, can't wait!

3-1 for paris, not a bad result but this goal against them in away for chelsea can hurt.
Thiago silva did a pretty noobish mistake on that penalty, first time i see him concede one.
Ivanovic made a penalty on Cavani on the first half that the ref didn t see though.
Side show bob did a good job to anihilate Ibra, we barely saw zlatan this game, even if side show bob scored an own goal. I hope ibra s injury won t be too bad.. Even if PSG did pretty well without him.
Lavezzi is great since 2014, he proved it again, cavani is totally out of shape since 2014.
What a goal from Pastore... He s a really nice guy and very talented... But what to do with him? So inconsistent.. Lucas moura did you guys see his action in the midfield? Lol. He is still 20 or so, when this guy will start being efficient he will be a hell of a player.
Great game by thiago motta in the midfield, disapointing matuidi and verratti did just ok.

Both teams looked completely tired at the end, there was a lot of intensity in this game.

from what i understood they've got 90 days to solve their irregularities if they want the ban to be lifted. so they probably will.

that was indeed an awesome goal, albeit it was possible because cech's error. but the way he disposed of the defenders and insisted on that side to get in close and shoot was great.

however the other match from this evening was far more entertaining. huge amounts of shots and opportunities for both sides. it could have easily ended 6-2 or even more.

PS: as for ibracadabra i also hope it's nothing serious. i see there are no official updates on the injury but i hope it's just a minor pain in his hamstring that can be fixed with a few days of rest. he doesn't even need to play in the weekend cause psg has a big lead in ligue 1.

yup the league cup final vs lyon is comming in a week time though; but the french league is as good as won with 13 points advance now. i was clearly looking forward for this game as a parisian (even if it's not my club, still the club of my city so interested to see the game with my friends, no one cared of the other game here hehe)

this is pretty strange, even if paris is a club made out of gas money;it has a very good image here. The players are quite likeable to be honest, and ibracadabra is just a superstar. I'm sure he'll be big even when he stops football, his personality is quite something.

Pastore looks like a very nice chap, he's got talent but he's dull... I don't know what the hell is wrong with this guy.

Real Madrid wins in Anoeta, easily as I predicted. Who took my advice and bet his house on RM?

Atleti 1-0 Villareal
Barca 3-1 Betis
Real Sociedad 0-4 Real Madrid

Without Cristiano, Di Maria, Marcelo, or Coentrao. the whole left side didn't start. Modric, as he normally does, played a great game.

I'm starting a usergroup-based mega-tournament in which each player represents one of the member nations of FIFA, playing international friendlies, continental championships, and World Cups - along with all the necessary qualifiers - and try to climb the FIFA World Ranking.
Each match will consist of 2 1v1s and 3 poly games.

Psg was total shit tonight. Cavani was total shit, this guy has got his mind elsewhere since 2014. They really missed zlatan...
This was the first time in over 20 games straight they didn t score at least a goal. and yeah, they were quite dumb on both goals defensively. Huge fail!

Congrats on winning the bet, bring on the filthy avatar for a month for me trevor ;) :D

Haha, I damn clean forgot about that bet. I'll let you sweat on it and get you one tomorrow.

Agree about Cavani, what the hell is going on there? Thinking of the World Cup?

Funny for the best two defenses in the CL (arguably) all 6 goals could have been prevented with better defending.

Worse thing about the PSG is that it s the second consecutive year they get kicked out of the champion s league on away goals.

Now here is a question: is that rule really fair? Shouldn t we go to overtime when both teams score the same amount of goals overall? I m really not that sure that there is a justification for that rule, although we ve always seen it so it seems normal.

I think the rule is meant to encourage away teams to attack... IMO, it's a good rule. talking about fairness, Chelsea deserved a better result in the 1st leg.

As for Bayern and Man United, I wouldn't be surprised if the devils knocked the Bavarians out tomorrow.. I wouldn't at all!
