Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [40/? Players]
All till here have been added (: We're up to 40 players, out of the maximum 50! I'm honestly pleasantly surprised with the interest.
Again, if there are any missing settings in your post, I will assign the default setting for that.

You've already signed up, your name is on the list. You didn't give your settings previously though, if you still wish to change it!
Added till here.
Also I realised I took in some Freemium players. Checking whether they're going to upgrade their accounts, but for now they're not part of the tournament, so we're down to 38 players.

In as a reserve!
Update
Round 1 Set 1 has started, games have all been sent out. Hopefully everyone gets into their games in good time!
All players should check the settings of their home game (your username should be in the game label). Any botched settings are to be reported to me within 48 hours; anything after that will NOT get a replacement game. The same applies for all future sets.
Also, I made sure that nobody plays on the same away setting more than once within the same round. Other than that, game allocations are purely random. It's also pretty cool to note that of the 38 payers that picked specific maps (7 players picked Random), we have 35 unique maps in the mix! That's definitely going to be exciting.
So it's time to see who will pull away to an early lead, and who will fall behind the pack. Remember that scores are cumulative throughout the entire tournament, so every game is extremely important! Good luck, have fun, and may the odds be ever in your favour!

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 1]
Update
muti failed to join his games, and has thus been replaced by our one and only reserve, paws1610.
Games are in full swing, with 5 of them already being complete. The scoreboard in the link in the 2nd post will continue to be updated regularly!
Also, I should state this clearly first - if a game ends due to map objectives being met (e.g. All Your Base, Conquer Rome) or the round limit being reached, final placings of players for the said game will be based on CC's round limit rules - highest troop count, followed by highest territory count if there are ties.

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 1]
Update
zachandbri has deadbeated out of all his games, and has not logged in to CC for a few weeks now. As such, muti will be coming back in Set 2 as a replacement, though with only 6 points (the minimum) from Set 1.
As for the results so far, 29 of the 40 games have been completed, and a good number of players already have their 5 scores for Round 1 Set 1 locked in. LittleMao currently sits at the top of the table with 49 points, having won 3 of his 5 games, including the important home map. He's followed closely by lapdog with 44 points, having placed no worse than 2nd place in all his games. They may not be keeping their positions, however. andypl0nd0n is presently sitting at 9th, despite only completing 3 games so far. He has won all 3 of his completed games, and is looking for a 4th win on his home map.
On the lower end of the table, it's hard to say anything conclusive as most of the players are missing scores. However, the expected mean score for each set is 26.4, so you should be aiming to score anything above that if you want to be in the top half of the pack. Regardless, there's still Round 1 Set 2 before we make any eliminations, so a lot can happen till then.

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 1]
Update
At the midpoint of Round 1, i.e. with only Set 1's games being counted, ItzPetey came out of nowhere to top the leaderboard with 53 points, winning 4 out of the 5 games he played, including the all-important home game! Sitting a little behind is LittleMao with 49 points, while andypl0nd0n jumps into 3rd place with 48 points.
On the lower end of the table, we have our current bottom 10 players currently in the red! Hopefully they can put in a better performance for Set 2 of Round 1, and escape potential elimination!

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 1]
Update
Sorry about the delay, I just returned from vacation and it still looks like there's a game ongoing! And since the results of this game affects the fates of at least 3 players' advancement, I shall wait till it's complete till I send out the next round of games.
But since the scores at the top of the table won't be changing, let's take a look at those. ItzPetey remains the leader after the second set with 77 points. This is despite a comparatively poorer performance in the 2nd Set where he earned a mere 24 points, as compared to 53 in the 1st Set. The margin between the leader and the rest is a lot narrower than before as well, as ckyrias and GioDuce are tied in second place with 76 points each; while LittleMao falls to fourth place with 75 points, after previously coming in second at the end of the 1st Set.
Meanwhile, babagonosh has left the site and has been removed from the tournament. lapdog has been absent from the site for a while now, and will be removed if he does not return by the start of Round 2. This definitely opens up the field to more contenders, as the above players were doing well in the tournament, placing 11th and 6th in the field respectively.

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 2]
Update
The last game of Round 1 finally reached completion - a game which was so crucial that the results brought 3 players out of the bottom 8, saving them from elimination.
The playing field now narrows down from 45 players to 35, and the competition gets stiffer. Bear in mind that results from previous rounds carry over in equal weightage, so those that are behind need to make up some ground! Good luck!

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 2]
Update
Round 2 Set 1 is complete, and games for Round 2 Set 2 have been sent out.
The scoreboard sees considerable movement, as only 3 of the previous top 5 players retain their spots in the top 5. That said, 7 of the previous top 10 players are still within the top 10.
LittleMao now emerges as the clear frontrunner, leading the pack by 11 points with a total of 120, his consistent performance paying off as he jumps from fourth to first on the scoreboard. A considerable distance behind, we have Silly Knig-it and andypl0nd0n in second and third with 109 and 107 points respectively. And after a slightly less impressive set, previous leader ItzPetey is now placed fourth with 106 points. ckyrias and GioDuce, who were previously tied for second place, drop to tenth and twelfth respectively after less than stellar performances in the recent set.
On the other end of the table, of the 10 players previously at the bottom of the tally, 4 have managed to fight their way out of the danger zone with their recent performances. The most successful of them is Overdsky, who jumps from 28th position to 8th. They'll have to keep up their good performance to stay in the competition after the next round of cuts though!

Re: Masters of Standard [TPA4] [Round 3]
Update
Round 2 is finally complete, and we have our 25 players that are moving on to the next round!
After yet another amazing performance, LittleMao keeps his spot at the top of the table with 165 points, with a comfortable lead of 18 points from the next player. In second place we have Great-Ollie with 147 points, jumping 12 places from his 14th-place finish at the end of Round 1 to where he is now. Donelladan comes in 9 points behind in 3rd place with 138 points, rising from his 5th-place finish at the end of Round 1. Following closely behind are ItzPetey, Round 1's leader, with 137 points; and JPlo64 with 134 points, who jumps 17 places from his 22nd-place finish in Round 1.
Looking solely at Round 2 scores, we can clearly see why our current top 2 players are there, as LittleMao comes out on top with 90 points earned in this round alone, while Great-Ollie follows closely with 86 points. JPlo64 and SuperWang come in 3rd and 4th for the round with 79 and 78 points respectively, and are coincidentally also the 2 most improved players between Round 1 and 2, seeing the greatest positive difference in points earned in the 2 rounds.
There's lots of cool stats at the bottom end of the table too, but it's not nice to be publicising people's poor performances eh? But the fight is far from over, so keep earning those points! Games for Round 3 Set 1 will only be created tomorrow.
EDIT: ProsthoDoc hasn't logged into CC for a while and hasn't accepted his game invitations. Risk_Averse, the 26th-placed player will take his place instead.
