Nope! We are at 30 players right now - including everyone who has signed up to this point.
This tournament has been designed for a minimum of 32 players and a maximum of 48.
We're not there yet, but I think we will be soon.

Do the participants have to join the auto-tourney of this? Because I couldn't join the auto-tourney until I had been added to the list of participants so I wondered if there was a correlation.

As far as I know, this tourney has no auto-tourney aspect. I fully expect to run this entire tourney manually, as I do not believe the auto-tourney infrastructure is capable of handling this sort of format.

At the risk of sounding like a clueless idiot, I had no idea that was there.
I will discuss this with the TDs.
In other news, since we've gotten more than 32 signups in less than a week, this tournament will stay open until Monday, March 24. Players will be added 2 at a time until then.

It's not an auto-tourney. There are some new features rolling out that I'll have more information on later, but your tournament will get a few of the basic ones.
