There was already a thread about this tournament, but the organisor never got to starting the tournament, so I decided to take over.

I just started a new thread, so I can change the opening post when I need to and to attract attention to this again. The old 1 can be closed.

This are the rules:

-16 players in 4 groups of 4
-All games on World 2.1, Sequential, Flat Rate, Unlimited
-top 2 of each game go to next round
-round 1 games last maximum 20 turns (when not finished the 2 players with the most territories after 20 turns go on)
-round 2 games last maximum 40 turns (when not finished the 2 players with the most territories after 40 turns go on)
-finale game last maximum 80 turns (when not finished the player with the most territories after 80 turns is the winner)
-When players have the same number of territories after the last turn, the player who had the most territories 1 turn before is on top, etc.

forza i would just like to say that the way this is set up, me going first i have to attack a hell of a lot more than the others at this point. the other 3 (especially the one that goes last) will know how many territories he has to defeat to get through.

Yes, I also thought of that. But I just organised the tournament and took over the rules of the original topic. The one that comes last indeed has an advantage.
