Is this considered Secret Diplomacy?

So I looked around and couldn't find an answer to this question. I know it is illegal to contact or talk to players about a ongoing game outside of the game, aka Secret Diplomacy. But is it still Illegal to try to contact one of your own Team Members who has missed their first or even second turn, to see if that player is still active? I wouldn't talk to them them anything else about, I'd just want to see if they are still active so that I can plan accordingly. Is that illegal?

that's no trouble at all. talking with teammates isn't considered diplomacy... you're already on the same team! You can PM notes about the game, write on their wall about the game, talk in Live Chat about the game... whatever you want.
