This has been suggested before. Merged.
Re: mobile application for conquerclub
Completely support this idea although the technical stuff is way over my head. I hope that you will include a blackberry version though. One of my least favorite things to do is take my turns on the BB.
Re: mobile application for conquerclub
Hey guys,
I have recently started building an iPhone/iPod app for CC. Version 1 can be downloaded from http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/conquer- ... 37999?mt=8 . This is a simple app that saves your login details, and displays your current games which can then be accessed in-app.
I have plans to enhance the game playing experience for version 2. A few features I have been thinking about adding to the game play:
Adding a 'big red button' to initiate an assault instead of having to click those small boxes.
Adding an overlay view which will display details of selected territories, amount of troops to reinforce/assault, etc.
Adding a pull down menu which will display a list of player stats that can be retractable to display more of the game view.
I'll need to do something with the map but I think this is going to be my biggest problem. Considering most of the maps are quite large (and all different sizes!) I think zooming is still going to be a necessity on a small handheld device. Although I would like to make it so you're not constantly zooming all over the map all of the time. Any suggestions?
Let me know what you think of the app and if you have any suggestions as to what can go into future versions. Hopefully I will have access to the info required to add all the features we need to make this a quality app!
If you can let others know, and spread the word around about it (and rate it on the app store!) we can get more ideas and feedback rolling which would be great for the app.
Cheers,
Peter

Re: mobile application for conquerclub
There was a mix-up with pricing when I first submitted the app (it was meant to be free but for some reason it was charging $1) which I have recently fixed. This may be the reason for that message. Was it displayed on the app store? Try again in a while, it should work.

Thiago app doesn't recognize my password.
What to do?
What to do?
Re: Conquer Club Mobile App
Updated the OP and moved out of archives.
Phone/tablet app
I hope I haven't missed this, but I would like to see an app developed for the phone/tablet. I have tried to use both before, but have found no way to bring up a keyboard in order to escape and/or end combat or my turn. I have been able to start a turn and place my armies, but end up having to time out. As it is, I have to wait until I return home from work to play, whereas with an app a person could play on their breaks/lunch hour. (Yes, I am addicted.)
If I am missing something, please let me know.
Thanks for considering this.

Re: Phone/tablet app
we already have an app for the site but it is out of date and made by a third person. Right now no official CC app exists but one is needed. My tablet is not too bad to play on via the internet but the phone is horrendous to use.

Re: Phone/tablet app
I use 50/50 tablet and computer, the tablet doesn t work that bad. I never managed to log throught that cc app though... But yes, this would be cool to have an official cc app.
