I don't think it's the economy my man.

Note: Philadelphia is the only team to sell out. Every game in Philadelphia is sold out. So much for those wondrous Green Bay fans. /bitter Philly fan

The orders for playoff tickets went out to season ticket holders right after the Thanksgiving loss to Detroit. At that point no one thought they'd make the playoffs, so no one ordered tickets.

Also, GB changed their refund policy concerning tickets. In the past, if you order playoff tickets they gave you the option to either receive a refund for any and all playoff games the packers won't play, or put the money toward the next seasons tickets. For some reason, they removed the option to refund the money immediately and only allow it to be put forward to next year. As a result, our family didn't buy playoff tickets this year because $1700 is lot of money to tie up for almost an entire year since you have to buy 3 games worth of tickets, especially since the playoff chances seemed pretty small at the time. This fact has not been seen or covered in all the articles I've read. Combine this with the extreme cold and the chance the packers will be one and done prevented a lot of people from buying them. Don't necessarily blame the fans for this, blame the packers organization for making things "more in line with the rest of the league in price" and the boneheaded idea of removing the refund option. Honestly, in the past decade ticket prices have gone up about 50%, and the food and drinks in stadium have gone up significantly as well. I used to be able to get a slice of pizza and a hot chocolate for $10, now it's closer to $14 for both so I've stopped getting the pizza.

I read yesterday, that hot cocoa will be free for the entire game tomorrow.

Also, that the game did sell out, and thus avoided the blackout.

I doubt anyone was concerned about ticket sales in Green Bay
and the hot chocolate is a nice touch.

I won't be surprised when the Packers beat the Niners
in the arctic tundra Sunday.
Hoping the CHIEFS play big today too!

I don't think so. These stadiums don't see 2 million people.

What?

Also, Andrew Luck is a beast.

Underdogs were 4-0 ATS and the under cashed in 3 of 4 games. Andy dalton threw for more yards than rodgers, keepernick, manning, Brady and Wilson in week 17. Is he the greatest quarterback of this generation?

49ers@Packers ... Niners will probably win, but I like Rodgers and dont want the exact same picks as AoG

Saturday correct, Sunday not so much. I expected 49ers to win but I did make the pick.

Also I concur AoG: Luck was amazing as soon as they picked up momentum.

Seahawks!
Colts
49ers
Broncos

Chiefs @ Colts - Was never sold on the Chiefs from the beginning who are 0-5 against playoff teams. Luck's the best player on the field and it'll be shown.
Saints @ Eagles - Offenses are about equal but I'd take the Saints' D over the Eagles'.

Chargers @ Bengals - Bengals have a competent defense, Chargers have a piece of shit QB
Niners @ Packers - Niners just have a better team. Packers will need a big day from Lacy.

3-1. Fucking Andy Dalton.

DIVISIONAL ROUND
Nawlins @ Seattle - Going to be very close. Defenses stalemate the offenses. Seahawks win by a field goal.

Indy @ Pats - Hilton ends with 2 catches, Luck gets swarmed. Pats 34 - Colts 20.

Niners @ Panthers - As close as the the other NFC game because of the defenses again but much lower scoring. 16-14 Panthers.

Chargers @ BRONCOS - Was there any doubt where I was going with with this pick? Broncos 30 - Chargers 20.

Risky business going with 4 home teams.

Saturday
Saints @ Seahawks
Colts @ Patriots

Sunday
Niners @ Panthers
Chargers @ Broncos

It's likely that the Home Field and bye week teams will prevail,
but I think Indy and San Diego have the best shots at upsets.
Regardless there should be a couple good ones this weekend.

I was 2-2 for the Wild Cards, but Cincy fumbled it away,
KC just went limp in the second half and Brees reminded
everyone how it's done.

Alright. Seattle won by 5 more points, the Pats by 7 and Hilton got 4 catches instead of 2, but those are spot on.

Ok, late to the game, and two are already in the books, but still:

Seahawks (in the books)
Patriots (in the books)
49ers
Broncos
CONFUSED? YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU'RE RIPE

Considering the weather conditions, all teams played well.

Luck had a tough day though tossing enough interceptions
to match his INT total for the season in just two playoff
games. The Pats used a Blount attack to run over Indy as
the Colts couldn't take advantage of their opportunities.

Seattle shut out the Saints in the First Half and that was
about all they needed.

Depending on the weather, there may be a shootout today
at Mile High and a defensive battle in Carolina.

I did.

Seriously, there's no way we would've stopped the Chargers if they got the ball back. If Manning and JT don't hook up on that third and very long, the game is going to OT and I have PTSD flashbacks to last year.

Dodge a fucking bullet.

3-1.

San Fran @ Seattle - Very close, defensive game. Niners win on last second field goal, 22-20.

Pats @ BRONCOS - Shoot out. Broncos win 35-24.
