Bah...the ratings system they have now is too vague...I mean, it's easy to use, but, for that very reason, most people have obscenenely inflated ratings....Most people -my lazy ass included- will just leave fives across the board, for most people...Before you could at least get some idea of why...
That abbreviated ramble aside, I can understand the reasoning....thanks for the response, sir.
I hate the ratings. All it shows are a bunch of numbers on the screen. That may tell me something but it doesn't tell me everything. With feedback you were able to express yourself as well as you could words. I look through my own feedback and see what I was like back in the day. Who was doing what. I read some of the glowing reviews and I feel proud. I can see exactly how people felt. Now I just see a bunch of 5's most everywhere. Basically all I can tell now is who is nice and who isn't. Before you could probably tell more of how nice. Meh, I feel the ratings just aren't personal enough.
That's my exact issue...I'll admit, there is some level of ego stroking involved with my like of the old feedback system...a decent number of my glowing reviews saying good strategy were from high-ranked [or at least they now are] individuals...that really means nothing, in the grand scheme of things...The checkboxes they have, now, are better than nothing, but they just can't have enough to fill out all the possibilities...

I don't know. I think it's better to hear it in their own words. And besides the extra effort that someone had to do to say what they needed to say instead of click 5-5-5, shows the more deservedness of the feedback you got. Besides it's just really nice to hear from people's feedback, reading nice stuff is nice :3

I quite agree...That being said, the flipside is that people would be using them for excessive and unnescessary attacks on someone's tactics.

"Forum Days" are DoomYoshi's personal "holiday" that apparently occurs when the Off Topics forum retains the same name for 136 to 143 days. No one knows what any of this means.
