I get that the dice work this way and could definitely be improved but love when people say "I expect something different than what actually happened, therefore it is not random."

Perhaps what loutil should have said was "I expect that in order to fit the definition of random, all dice numbers should have an equal chance of occurring, and there should be no obvious bias where some numbers consistently appear more often than others. It has been shown without question that this is not the case, and administration representatives have admitted as much, therefore the dice are not random."

... but that seems a little long-winded.

Ultimately the numbers you roll don't really mean anything at all. I don't even really look at which numbers come up on my rolls anymore. Whenever you roll to attack there are only 2 or 3 meaningful results possible, depending on the number of dice involved. The numbers displayed aren't really necessary now that the game has moved has away from using actual dice to generate the results. You shouldn't worry about the dice distribution. You should look at the battle outcomes and see if those match up to what they theoretically should.

It matters little what you roll. The important point is what is rolled against you. The die are rubbish on this site, they always have been and always will be

I'll never understand how you how 2000+ games played, but less than 25,000 rolls.

Because many of my games were from the times when these things weren't recorded.

I'd already determined (at least to my own satisfaction) that this bug is virtually undetectable based on battle outcomes. But that doesn't mean that the issue should be put on the back burner until they can find nothing else to work on. People often complain about the dice, and when it can be shown that they are not random, that just gives more (false) justification to those complaints, and hurts the integrity of the site. Fixing the dice shouldn't be that difficult, and should have come before Website facelifts, Profile Score Ranges, Bots and other minor enhancements.

Isn't it great that we can check your games, to see that you have lost only a few (one) games in the past week (more like two) or so which proves your statement to be 100% horse crap.

The dice aren't being manipulated. They are incorrect for so many reasons. Not least fo which is that the age old problem of the 'sticky' style they roll in.

I see, once again, my battle outcomes are sliding deeper into negative territory.
