I have to agree with the other posts here Not a fan at all of the home page it doesnt look professional .Also not a fan of the layout of the new way the menus are on the left

I know you likely already have but just in case have you consulted with a designer here? Not a web designer an actual graphic designer.. Its what I do for a living and there is a big difference between the 2. I think you could use the advice of an actual graphic designer to help make this look more professional.

Also you need to consider what size screens your users might be using. Right now Im on a mac book and the size of the menu on the left is really overbearing - cuts into the small size that I already have to set my maps at.

the other additions all sound like great fun!

the menu on the left did not change size. it is possible there is something odd with your setup. pm me a screen shot if you wish.

From the tournament pages (tournament1, etc.) there is a link to the Beta page on the upper left. Is that intended?

that is for Beta Testers only.

When I click on the main logo it should take me to the home page but it logs me in again and takes me to the regular "logged in" page with all the menus. I then have to click on the main logo again to see the home page. Sort of annoying.

Also, the link to this announcement on the main page is broken for me. The link is:

It did change size big wham its on all 3 of my computers Ive just checked. Perhaps you havent considered the mac factor?

The entire layout of the page is slightly different with the left side now taking up more space than it did before (menu items)
Its very annoying when on a lap top

Also there seems to be a bug when I navigate around CC now it sometimes randomly takes me back to the front page and asks me to log in

I am on Firefox there is nothing wrong with my set up - my set up didnt just randomly change on 3 different computers all at once

Perhaps you are making this only for pc users now?

MAP RANK FREEZES AND DOES NOT FIT IN THE POP-UP WINDOW

The Map Rank issue that you appear to have isn't related to this update. The Map Rank add-on was never updated to work with Polymorphic games (because it is essentially an abandoned tool). If you try to make someone who has played a Polymorphic game it will stop working at ninety something percent. You can kind of work around that by running Map Rank from the Game Finder page and excluding Polymorphic games. For more info see the thread for the Map Rank add-on.

I have to say, if the site looked like it does now back when I first joined, I wouldn't have spent ten seconds on it. It looks ugly and cluttered, and that's on a fairly sizeable screen.

Just a note that the new front page is absolutely abysmal - in my opinion. The other changes are fantastic; but the landing page violates every known design principle.

Sorry, it is on my end. It is my LastPass autologin feature which detects the username/password form on the home page and proceeds to log me in again and go to My Games. Turning off LastPass solved the problem.

As you know, I use mac because of my job as well. I haven't seen any issues with my macbook, but then I don't have access to a windows computer right now to compare. It appears to be working okay. =)

Correct - The top 4 actually gain entry to The Championships... which is otherwise selective by score.

I really like the idea of AutoTournaments though. Always thought these kind of things should exist, ConquerCredits as prizes are nice as well. I really like the 2014 tournament series idea... we'll see how it plays out with satellites and entry determined by score but right now I love the idea

Holy crap. Pardon my astonishment, but is that home page EVER UGLY! I'm sorry, but it very nearly made my eyes water. Is it supposed to be a throwback to Web Page design from 1997?

(Also, small bug, when I put the focus in the USERNAME field, it doesn't remove that text, so if I just start typing, it appends my login name to the end, like "USERNAMEHydrargentium". I have to deliberately delete all eight of those letters. Doesn't make it unusable, but it's seriously clunky, and not hard to fix. I've built stuff exactly like that from scratch, and there are plenty of free, open source widgets available to use as well.)

The new look is horrible , please change the left panel back to the way it was. i don't visit the front page all that often so it can look as terrible as you want but please revert the ingame UI back to the way it was.

Holy WOW! I am usually a nice guy and try to take everything in with the notion that it is a work in progress and can be fixed if needed, but that home page is beyond fixable! Just wow... That is sooo bad graphically speaking.

Having a background in both web design and also graphic design, that front page has a whole ton of "what not to do" for noobs. Most all of the update that have come out since the new ownership have been great, but this one wow. Along with those blue numbers. Just bad. On the mobile version I have to do a good bit of scrolling and I have one of the new Galaxy S4 phones.

The Marquee has to go. I thought that died in like 2002?

Diving the home page into 4? Also a bad idea. Nothing fits together and looks like some crap tossed on a page.

In the Announcement section why remove all the colors? The colors that went with the departments they represented.

The login area just reeks of not knowing what do with this section. That red box is worthless and should be taken out.

The image on the bottom right is ok, but looks really out of place.

I hope you really rethink this page and totally redo it. For an idea on how to do make this work better take a look at http://www.ebay.com/
