Hello. I may not have the gist of "Conquer Rome"...I have my opponent down to maybe five armies, but I cannot finish him. My question is this: Where do I find the rules so that I might review them as to improve my game? Thanks for anyone's response!

it shouldn't be sporadic... the only difference is that if you log out of chat and then back in, it defaults to chime being off and you will have to switch in on again. Do you think that might be the problem you're having?

thanks, but no, I make sure I leave it turned on, but I still only hear it sometimes, not all the time. It's weird.

I've done some testing on this and it appears that it will only chime if your cursor is NOT over the main chat window and a message appears (including your own). I'm guessing here but it would seem that the chat software assumes that if your cursor is over the window that you're there and don't need the chime. That's something that I can't say exactly how much work would be involved in fixing nor even when they can get around to it since that would be lower priority than fixing things like the site lag so I'm not in a position to say when it will be fixed. Sorry. In the meantime at least you'll have a better idea of what you need to do to be able to hear the chimes

Hi, my score is currently 1611 and has been for a few days. For some reason i'm still listd as a sergeant. ANy reason why that may be?
