CC is declining again!

i have also problem whit other games advertising, its provoke me that mine time for CC switch to play World of Tanks.
Its big temptations for me.
I dont know how long i will fight with this?

it would show mostly decline if they did. Wonder what is drawing people away though.

is it the necessity to log in every day and not just when you feel like it i wonder, we all have those days and maybe for longer term players and short term come to think about it, it all just becomes too much? Rl has changed a whole amount since the "glory days" cant see that ever coming back, work on the new guys i say, teach them instead of farming, mocking and avoiding them, they are the future high rankers and clan stars if they are ever given a chance to thrive on the site instead of getting whooped and looked down on before they even get started... i tried to take a turn the other night on a map i know well and have a decent record on, Waterloo, check if you like. i was away from home and had no BOB ive played the map tonnes of times, did i know what bombarded what, nope might as well have been a noob mysef, these new guys dont stand a chance, the few that are lucky enough to get given a chance by a clan when they have no experience or those that make it through the long SOC waiting list might, but the rest would just lose interest, thats my opinion anyway, some will disagree i know but hey.

I kinda agree with this because I've been there quite recently. I came back last November, started a bunch of games and went from captain to private due to not knowing all the new maps and settings that popped up in the last 3 years. I went back up to sargeant 1st class and kinda stayed there playing 1v1 classic. lol. But you know, unlike 1st time around in 2009, no one wanted to play with me, just farm me because my stripes told them I couldn't possibly know anything, right? Then I met a couple people through LC who gave me some tips to improve my game, and played team games with me, another who showed me how to pay escalating again. Without having met decent folk on here, I'd have left. I am generally good at strategy games, but CC is the only place that I have ever played "risk" so just needed a point in the right direction again, for the penny to drop. A couple of months later, I was getting interest from clans (and here I am). That's all it took was someone to say "hey, you're doing it wrong" and I am sure there are so many more potentially good players there with stripe ranks. So, thinking about what you said, I can kinda relate.

I envisage a climb in numbers, these poly games are fun. The parachutes throw another interesting reinforcement and the bots for newcomers should be great for them to get the feel. Clans scene remains strong and their are more volunteers than ever throughout the site making it so much fun.

So if Wham can iron out some of the odd bugs that keep popping up, the numbers should increase

Maybe bigwham need to try some experiment and try one month without advertising of some other gaming sites.
