TNC is going to be LIVID with my last move in Eurasia. Just broke a 15-round truce... but I had to do it. It's sunny and you can read the chat. But stand-by for fireworks.

Hmm, with Crossword and Salem's Switch, TNC is up to 17.

yep, obviously I didn't know about the 99 stack in Crossword, Salem's is a given anyway (unless we've got a massive stack hidden away somewhere - no-one tells me anything!)

Crossword we got extremely lucky - I autoed a huge stack of Grays - like 125 vs 138 and I got to advance 78.

I make it

AQoH 9
FISO 10
TNC 17
G1 15

9 games still in play, we just need to win 8 of them to win the war! AQoH need all 9 :-)

A bit of bad feeling here and there, if the earlier comment of AQoH & FISO teams "suiciding" against G1 and giving games to TNC is true then that's unfortunate. There was certainly no direction from anyone within FISO to do so and from my viewpoint a self-defeating strategy, TNC & G1 should have been "encouraged" to go after each other potentially allowing AQoH and ourselves to pick up wins.

I would suggest for any future multi-clan wars that there's a bigger gap between sets, possibly as much as a month, to give the early set games a decent chance to develop and get a few finished before the next rounds are considered. Also rather than 30 round limits 50 might be better, okay some might end up being 30+ rounds of stacking but more should get played out to a finish.

I think that there's always going to be an eye on the scoreboard in multi-team comps, I don't see what can be done about that.

Also drastically reduce no spoils games.

2/3 games were. This is way too high. While no spoils is good for 2 team games, it is not for 4 team games. Most of the games played were stack, and then blow up 25 rounds later. Those aren't particularly fun games. It also makes it so that if you are hit hard, there's no way to come back. Common in 4 team games.

If I were to do a similar war, I would definitely limit no spoils games. And even then I'm not sure that I'd do it. That's the only way I'd consider it, though.

btw this war doesn't count towards the database or towards the F400 but I think the winners still get medals.

I agree with everything thats been said. Heck lets add in 2 more teams for even more chaos!

Btw I think we all did a fairly good job of keeping our cool during these games. Does anyone have any complaints about TNC that should be addressed?

I know a couple of games here and there had an issue or two, but I think those were expected. Does anyone have any problems that they feel went beyond the normal limits?

I have no bad blood after this with anyone.

There was some minor bitching in a couple of games i was in, but nothing more than tactics as far as i could see. Certainly nothing i'd be worried about

If I didn't already hate multi team games enough having No Spoils made it even worse. I think people just pulled games from their normal war lists for 2 teams which often includes no spoils.

Gil, sorry if I had a hissy fit about you posting in one of my games. Like I said, multi team games make me stressed. At least I didn't flip the board and throw the pieces out the window.

Well done TNC! And well played all!

Interesting competition, very pleased that we got our fair share and made the gap much closer with a run of wins at the end.

I would do it again next year but definitely some maps/ settings do not suit this type of war!
