Actually looking at my games.. I remembered that I played the biggest baby in CC, all of our chat has went away.

But I am glad I get to kill him again, more pleasure for me!

Now I know how psychics feel. I can tell you what nuke cards my opponents are about to produce as I've already seen them played once before.

Thank you for attending to the data loss problem. However there are matters that you should also look into as a follow up that cannot be solved merely by crediting us 2 extra days.

Take for example the game above.

Teal had a disastrous turn before the reset. As a result, my team was in command of the game.

After the rollback, teal reset his turn and had a great round!

Now our winning game reversed to a losing game instead due to the rollback.

This is unfair to us considering that it is a tournament game.

Besides that I also had another winning game reversed as a result of your rollback.

CC, how do you intend to address the above matters?

Thank you for the good reminder that I waste too much time on this site.

Won a game last night and 100+ points. After the reversion, the player before me got to go again and eliminated me. :( Gah.

Haha, I don't really mind about the turns I have to do again, the great rolls that are now vanished, the fact that we have to start over 4 clan war games again. I just got 2 days extra premium valued at $0,14 :D :D

sorry, but i really hate that this happened. i know I'm new to this site but as you can imagine I'm extremely happy to find others that are very good risk players but I don't want a 2nd chance to win a game that I lost. Should be a way to notify admins and have them end games and reward the winners. Just my 2 cents worth.

I can only extend my condolences and apologies. Lots of good and bad luck happens in individual games and this was a (quite unfortunate) piece of bad luck for you. However, appreciate that it is simply not possible for us to go and start manipulating individual games based on how we think they should have gone. Your opponents, for example, may have a very different view of the situation in this game.... as every player in every game has there own perspective on it.

What I can assure you we are doing is putting our efforts in reducing the chances of this type of things happening again, and reducing the impact of any such scenario were it to happen. We are already re-engineering the backup processes, and discussing options for various ways of mitigating these situations. This is best way I can think of to serve the community as a whole on this matter.

Do your back-ups more often in future !!!

This could mean nothing more than that you are picking your nose and having a couple of thoughts whilst watching TV.

Means nothing - real action has been appreciated so please give us real action and more regular back-ups so you dont have to roll-back so far next time you try to update the messy system previous lazy owners have left.

I'll leave you to send PMs and update the forums for me.

Thanks

:D :D :D :D

Why the role back?

Why not just pick up where you left off at?!!

This "roll back" (which is BS), might cause a winning game to turn into a losing game.

Terrible management and structure by the Conquer Club Staff.

Glad to see it's all running fine now. To those who are complaining or are pissed off, would you have preferred to find CC did not do backups at all? Having had to replace my share of data on crashed or dead computers, I think it is amazing to see that they were able to get this backup in place and running so quickly. It could have been far worse. Congrats to the team for their hard work is in order.
