Plus the 1 handicap. Doesn't that make it 8-8. A little confused about this handicap thing.
ID had to win with at least 1 point difference, which they did.
The truth is that the handicap system didn't really come out, because the clans participating were all close together, except for LOTZ. I hoped more higher and lower ranked clans would join, then it would make more of a difference....

And fortunately for us, the handicap is what made possible our victory (tie 8-8 but with the handicap we are going onto next round).
Tie Breaker game goes to the LOTZ Game 13175072 How ever with all the CC changes there is a glitch Team 1 LOTZ won but the game is still showing active, I have filed a support ticket to correct this glitch in programing. Teddy

I am a bit confuse with the Handicap and the number of game to win. For LOTZ vs GR, how does it work?
If I understood correctly, since the handicap is 2, GR has to win 2 more game than LOTZ to win. But what happens if the final score is LOTZ 7 - GR 8. does LOTZ win or does it means we have to go to the tie-breaker for a final score of 8-8 8 8LOTZ move on next round) or 7-9 (GR move on next round)?
Thank you
From the OP:
Example: Suppose two clans meet in round 1. Clan A has a handicap of 16 and clan B has a handicap of 9 (comparable to KORT playing Dynasty at the moment). Over 15 games that means that clan A would have to win 2 more games than clan B (decimals will be ignored in this final calculation). So, if clan A wins 9 games and clan B wins 6 games, clan A would win the round. Now, what happens if they would end up with a score of clan A 8 wins and clan B 7 wins? If the game difference is an even amount, as in this example, and the score ends with 1 game difference of the amount, a tiebreaker is needed because the clans should play an even amount of games, i.e., 16 instead of 15 games.
So, in your example you guys would play a tie-breaker.

Lo and behold, LOTZ & GR indeed need to play a tie-breaker.
I set it up and sent the necessary info to the clan contacts.

I disagree with that decision. In general, the MVP almost always go to the winning clan (at least that's how it works in sports). And in this case, TwoPoint came nowhere close to playing max games (12 in his case, I believe). Yes, he was undefeated; but it was in only six games. ltiyank at 8-3 on the winning clan would have been the better choice, imo. Had TP went at least 10-0, then the case would be more legit. And in fact, TP only played two games in the final as well. Had he played in four, his clan may have won and then the MVP would have been truly warranted.
