Welcome to the second major tournament in a series of tournaments called Nothing But Neutral Ground!
Introduction
In many maps we have on CC, the neutral territories play an integral role in the gameplay of the map. In these maps, the neutral territories usually take up more than half of the territories, and in some cases, even close to all of them! This series of tournaments celebrates the key role of these neutral troops and territories, and tests how well you are able to sway these neutral territories to serve your purpose, or neglect them if they are of no use to you.
For this tournament, the full pool of maps that can be used are found below, with a total of 41 possible maps.

Gameplay
- Players will select their home map and settings during signups (see below).
- You will play 2 games in each round - your home game and a randomly assigned (using Random.org) away game.
- You must win at least one game to advance to the next round. Failing to win a game will result in elimination.
- If you lose on your home map but win on your away map, the away map will become your new home settings.
- A General Achievement Medal will be awarded to the player who wins the most number of away games before the finals, without winning the tournament (approved!).
- This process will repeat until we have our final 2 players.
The finals will be a best of 5 series between the final 2 players, with the following settings:
- Original (during signups) home settings.
- Current (entering finals) home settings.
- Original away settings.
- Current away settings.
- Randomly chosen settings of an eliminated player.
Signups
When signing up, please include the your home map settings of Map, Spoils, Fortifications, and Fog. The map has to be one of the 41 maps listed above. All other settings will be kept to Standard, Automatic, Sequential, No Trench, 20 Rounds.
If home settings are not indicated, a random map will be assigned to you at the start of the tournament, along with Escalating, Chained, Sunny settings.
If you wish to make a change after signing up, please make another post in the thread to inform me of the change, or send me a PM. Do note that no changes will be entertained after the tournament begins.
The tournament can take any number of players, but I will only take up to 50. The tournament can and will still run if that number is not reached in a month.

2. If you wish to withdraw from the tournament at any time, please inform me via personal message or post on this thread.
3. If you do not join the game within 48 hours, you will be eliminated.
4. If you are know you are not going to be around for a duration of time, please inform me. If the period of time is short enough, I will delay all of your games.
5. No reserves are needed. Everyone who signs up will get to play.
