Can you post the game number? Is it foggy?

I think the issue is that you're probably holding K5 and looking at the small map. The small map does not contain the food icon, but the large map does, and K5 is listed as part of the food bonus. The corrected small map image was posted on June 18 but hasn't been uploaded yet.

Not this as I do not hold k5 :).

It is also on the next graphics update waiting for upload (on p37 if you're interested).

p.s. I saw that one after using BOB to highlight the bonuses, not sure if I was the first though.

pps. I suggest that using BOB for bonus highlight to check for notable graphics/xml discrepancies should be introduced as a standard test (even if BOB doesn't like conditional border/stacking some of the new bonuses, it still know where they are)

The new small map may have been the wrong file, Koontz: the N7/N8 food thing isn't corrected, and I know we discussed it and you drew a map that corrected it:

It could of course be that the small map is correct re: n7/8 and the large map (and presumably the xml according to bob) are wrong but there is a discrepancy there

Hi everyone,

I just started by hasard this map and I already like it but I have a question about the reinforcement : it says 1 for every 4 territories but it doesn't shown any bonus to the guys who have it in my game... do I miss something obvious or is it a bug ?
You can check it out at Game 12849667, it's without fog ;)
I guess Red doesn't have any bonus because of the -1 of Siren's call but shouldn't orange get the +1 ?

The +1 for every four territs is the normal reinforcements and not a bonus. So between 1 and 19 territs, you will receive 3 troops, but at 20 regions, you will get 4, 24 -5, 28 - 6. So it is not a bug but it is not a bonus.

Well I guess it's then wiser to wait and build in early game at 8 players. Too much to lose compared to what bonus you can gain.

I have heard that it is wise to wait till you have a few good men in the slave entrance but I have just won my first game by getting out and building fast.

I played the map once - and lost ... Though it is a good map...

I tried to get out and capture a few key spots to control the board - like both Gorgons (Medusa) and Gaia's Spears..

yet, I left my slave entrances unprotected thinking the fire ring will help a lot fr that...

The other player just played the sides of the board and my key locations did not seem to ever be needed - as I was quickly wiped out...

But it's a great game - and glade it was made

I just realised something, my game is with Adjacent reinforcements... thus the ring of fire is really a pain now. I mean, as soon as I take it and go out, the auto deploy of the slave entrance becomes useless until someone try to take it from me :roll:

EDIT : Forgot what I just said, I'm an idiot :lol:

Now, apart the small and temporary issue with conditionals ( that it wasn't just related with this map), is there anything to change here? Is everyone happy with the map as it is now?

Now, in the next hours or so, some of you may notice that even if the map is quenched, it is listed as Beta into the start a game page, etc etc.
This because I'm not going to change the status. Admins have to do a test, not directly related to the map but with the recently released Beta Medals. For this reason we need to wait they do their job, it shouldn't take too long.
Apart for the status, everything else works as usually.

Hello,
i'm playng this game: Game 13157636

For the first time, after several games played, I attached a Siren with a good number of troops and I realized that once taken can no longer use those troops that have entered the territory.
I can not even transfer at the end of turn.
For me this is a bug!

Not a bug, they work as intended. They give a big bonus for one region so you need to defend them. With how many you defend them with is up to you.

I have a quick question regarding this map (really nice one btw).
It's my first team/polymorphic game and I am unsure on how to manage Prometheus: does the player attacking true the ring of fire needs to be the same as the one holding Prometheus?

Never-mind I found it by looking at the thread. Can the mapmaker make a note of it on the first page of this thread, I am pretty sure some other people will have the same question.
