To add on to Jonty's explanation, if you were to say, investigate me, you would be killed. Same with if you were to doc me, shoot me, etc.

Good to know someone with history of the series can back up the claim. Now if we are going to lynch an inactive before the deadline is reached, we should start gathering steam. Otherwise, its gonna be a no lynch or me (I would hope not).

Very well then, I understand that claim time has come. I am Detective Roland "Prez" Pryzbylewski, Town Paranoid Gun Owner. I have never seen the series, so i cant give any backup to the claim.

LOL i don't have anything to add to his claim but I think it's funny thinking back how well the PGO (paranoid gun owner) role describes Prez from season 1, I think I mentioned this in my original flavor post but Prez was considered an idiot in the beginning of the series because he shot up his own patrol car on accident before getting assigned to the detail (part of the reason why he was sent to the detail)

Then Prez immediately but accidently discharged his weapon upon arriving to the detail's HQ (some grimey basement in a random building owned by the city), this caused the Lieutenant to take away his gun for a while, Prez also went overboard on a "shakedown" and pistol whipped some project kid causing the kid to go blind in one eye

Prez was confined to paperwork for the remainder of the season after blinding the kid and being investigated by the grand jury but by the end of the season seemed to turn out to be a decent detective in the investigating/connecting the dots sense

Interesting I suppose. PGO is a possible scum fakeclaim precisely because it means few people will be willing to risk it. I don't know if the first season will be able to support fakes for mafia considering there's 13 total roles, but I suppose we can let this claim go for now.

I've seen the first series and the role fits perfectly with the character. If we are assuming that Omar is in the game, then we are looking at a vig/sk, mafia and a PGO. That is a lot of night kills for a game this size. I don't think anyone would be brave enough to fake claim Prez this early in the game, but this does mean that we have to be careful about who we lynch. If we are determined to get a lynch today, we will need an extension. Quick lynching a random person at this point would be a very dangerous move.

The first thought abput NG role of being a PGO was that it is a strong scum fake claim since no one is willing to risk it. But since his charachter seems to fit the name i am fine with moving on.

Kirk i think you dont understand the role very well. The PGO doesnt have a night action, but instead if he is targeted the person will die no matter what there role is. A few exceptions go around this like being bulletproof. So yes the possabilities for number of deaths per night could be very high.

We have 1 replacement that hasnt shown up if my memory servres me correctly. Chuck do you mind confirming that he got his role. If so we may want to pressure him to see if he is just lurking or not even showing up. This would be ghostly.

Im sorry guys, I did try posting when I got my role pm, but it said there was an error with the site, I left it for a few hours, did some stuff around the house, and it evaded my thoughts that night. And now I finally got time to read up. I confirm that I got my role on the 12th, and actually didnt visit the site all of yesterday (hanging out with friends all day, and till about 5am last night). I am here now, and just getting back into the swing of logging in the play a mafia game (havent played in ages).

The Detail

Now that the wire-tap had been approved, it was required to have a detective monitoring it at all times. Each call made from or to the payphones outside the towers and next to the pit would be intercepted. Some were inconsequential and ignored while others that may be relevant to the detail’s operation were marked as “pertinent”. As the detective sat and screened the various calls he heard a tapping at the window of the old building where they had set up their offices. He walked over toward the window and squinted to see past his own reflection and into the dark Baltimore night. There was a bang and before he knew what had happened, the bullet entered his brain and the detective died instantly.

NL on D1 is never good, as we are back to square one regarding lynch targets. Needing a majority is annoying.

I've never heard of a Wire Tap before, possibly a listener of some kind?
Mod, what is a Wire Tap?

I'm off to see if I can find anyone with links to IB yesterday, NK targets are much more prone to WIFOM than lynch targets though.

Mod, won't answer that question, and after a quick Google search, I came up with nothing. So that's leaves us with guesswork, IB has an ability to intercept telephone calls [or PMs in context], so I'm willing to guess, that either a) he could see SOME PM's or b) he could see who [singular, (his target)] was sending PMs to. Either way, it makes little difference, as IB can't shed any light on the situation, and he's now dead.

Let's get on with this lead. I am Detective Jimmy McNulty - Town Cop, and I investigated betiko last night; result - guilty. Vote betiko, I hear the gallows calling.
