It's just fixed, I didn't clean my cache but everything is all fast and that again. If it *was* them doing database stuff, a bit of warning would be nice.

Then can we have any details on what caused it? Other game sites where I pay are pretty forthcoming about what the problem was, how it was fixed and confirming whether or not the long-term problem (if any) has been fixed.

Thanks in advance.

There was, to my knowledge, just a random hiccup on the server. We're collecting stats to see what else may have caused the issue, and to prevent it from happening again.

Pretty laggy here this morning. Timed out quite a few times trying to take turns. 9:15am GMT.

Taking turns has been slow for me several days now, and the rest of the site seems to be somewhat sluggish as well. I'm talking about dicerolls or moving troops taking 10+ seconds where they normally seem to be almost instantaneous. Just tried clearing cookies, doesn't seem to have helped.

I am experiencing incredible lag at the moment. It is almost impossible to take my turns. The lag occurs everywhere including attacks, advancements, forts, jump to next game and forums. I am not experiencing any sign of lag on any other sites at the moment, just this one.

i never actually "time out" but when my normal speed is 1-2 attacks per second, and it takes 5 seconds to reload on a refresh, with a brand new comp and modem... well, somethings wrong on the CC end... been real bad the last few weeks... and many other fs players echo my sentiments.. I usually play sometime between 7 and 10 p.m. EST on weekdays... are here and there on the weekend....

a complete and prolonged time out like that doesn't look like typical CC lag to me Codie... I could be wrong, but it looks like you've got some weird shit going on on your end combined with some site lag from here... comp, connection speed at heavy data use times, modem jammed up... cache... I'm no expert by any means, but I'd clear cache, history, etc and reboot your modem... might be none of these, as I think CC is having issues as well... but some of that may help if you havn't already done so...

I regularly time out when starting my turn, especially on speed games and certain maps like ToG and ODW.

Serious lag this morning - on two different machines in different internet connections.

Turns time out, communication link errors, and basic turns take minutes rather than seconds.

I'm assuming there have been updates or changes going on today with all the downtime?

I've been getting the '10 second' warning a lot lately. Not much help when you're playing 1 minute speed games....so I'm not doing that any more. By the time I get iot sorted, I've missed a turn or run out of time. Annoying!!

When taking my turn in 24hr games, I am getting the warning a lot too. Instead of refreshing the map (which often has no effect) I refresh the browser. It all takes time and detracts from the enjoyment.

Sometimes, there is no lag for one or two turns, then it returns again. It's very random....but persistent.

Does anyone in CC officialdom read this thread?
This is frustrating, and not what I paid good coin for.
Things looked okay....slow, but okay, so I tried a speed game 12860713.
Silly me!
