Mainly, it shows 20 people eventually packing into one elevator, the nurse stepping off, but the elevator had not gotten to the floor yet. The doors opened prematurely, and well, she gets decapitated.

A person died due to equipment failure in a remote land. Why does this insignificant event garner attention?

No major players are covering this, and the bg.com and ud.com make sense, but why the others? Perhaps their customers are mild gore enthusiasts and aren't yet aware of it.
Maybe they enjoy entertaining or fearing the idea of being decapitated by an elevator in their everyday environment.
Maybe they simply enjoy watching gore.
