Big game in Detroit tonight...
Bollocks.
I was at camp and didn't see it at all. But was getting alerts on my phone and was quite excited when I got the alert for the tying goal. And needless to say very happy to get the alert for the GWG. Go Sens!

Both just played Game 3 of the second round. There is still a lot of hockey to be played before the finals. An injury to Anderson and all of a sudden the Penguins get a very easy series. We know Chicago is capable of going 11-0 which would run the whole playoffs. Boston is looking strong against New York, and L.A., the defending Cup champions are looking good against the Sharks.
At 2-1 it's still way too close to call for any series, let alone put a 7th seed in the finals.
Typical fan over-reaction there Gillipig. After the first game, in which Chicago dominated Detroit 4-1, everyone had the series down as a Blackhawks sweep. Two games later, as the Wings take a 2-1 series lead, you're putting them in the Finals. Both Detroit and Pittsburgh could still end up losing this round. As a Wings fan, I will not be comfortable about this series unless we win it. Chicago is too good a team to dismiss.

They score enough goals for 5 games in one game, then don't score again for two weeks. That's the way it's always been. They owe Lundqvist everything they get. All hail King Henrik!

I see more stanley cup winning captains with scrawny/boyish beards than the good old fashioned caveman beard. And Toews already has a cup to his credit, something Zetterberg hasn't. When a caveman bearded captain do win though..................epic!!

See the "C" on his jersey? That means he was the captain. C a p t a i n, which is what we're talking about here. I give Toews the upper hand in leadership ability, having successfully captained his team to win the Stanley cup speaks volumes.

Zetterberg hasn't won as Captain, but he did win the Cup back in 2008.
Bollocks.
Learn 2 read Mr. Pig.
And I totally dismiss your theory. Prior to this season, Zetterberg hasn't been afforded the CHANCE at winning the Stanley Cup as a Captain, because during his career here, Steve Yzerman and Nicklas Lidstrom have been captains; ever here of them? Under your brilliant idea, would you then say that Jonathan Toews is a better leader than Igor Larionov, simply because Yzerman was captain when Larionov won three Cups with Detroit? Bullshit.
Haha looks like I hit a soft spot. You've even begun resorting to "username-calling". No need to get your knickers in a twist though, I just thoroughly enjoy making you worked up about something trivial. There are plenty of captians that haven't captained their team to or won a Stanley cup, that are better leaders than Dustin Brown and Jonathan Toews. I will say this though, the leadership ability Z has, is all in his beard!

The four latest champions square off in the semis. Last year's champion Kings meets 2010's champion Blackhawks and 2011's champion Bruins meets 2009's champion Penguins. Which champion will be the champion? I'm putting my money on Pittsburgh, in a seven game final against Chicago.
