So soothing...

I hope it's permanent. Comic Sans is a god among fonts.

Until today I didn't really understand the comic sans hate.

I'd just never seen so much of it ... in the same place ...

It's all there--just looking at you. And you're looking back.

What's that you feel?

Yes. It's called 'hollowness'.

I had a physics prof who did all our notes in Comic sans. It was impossible to take seriously.

To be absolutely fair to the font though- I've been told by a few people who have dyslexia that it's one of the easiest fonts to read and work with.

Because the lowercase "a" does not have the thing on the top like most fonts.

That makes sense, although the impression I got was that most letters were more comprehensible.

From what I was told it's the way that the letters are more clearly separated. Vut yeah, the "a" was a big thing.

I just looked at a sample of Comic Sans and it struck me how much it resembled a good but not perfect rendition of the letters on the cards around the classrooms in the grades before they were replaced with the cursive examples. I wonder how much that affects the dyslexics: these letters look like the first ones they really learned.

From what I understand it's the "sans serif" that helps prevent the letters merging into one another. I don't want to pretend expertise on this though.
