I have another classic one from 1968 somewhere behind my giant stacks of books in the closet. I'm afraid it's lost to humanity for forever. I also happen to have another new/unopened Star Wars Risk back there. The wicked world laments. =(

As far as I know, the board for that one is identical to classic Risk, so I never bothered to purchase it. I felt pretty ripped off by HALO WARS Risk because the board is the same. I'm skipping Metal Gear Solid Risk for the same reason, but I might get the StarCraft edition.

and for a longer session, I like the Empire Builder train games - EMpire Builder, British Rail, India Rails, etc.

For the life of me, I cannot get a group of regular people together to play games with. I'm literally surrounded by farmers who'd rather honkey tonk and trade girlfriends every other year.

I've wanted to play Twilight Imperium and Small World forever, but I haven't been able to yet. Memoir '44 is great! How about Battlelore?

I used to have a closet full of games before I left the States, although not nearly as many as Juan's. Now I only have a couple of shelves full.

I'm surprised Carcassonne wasn't mentioned, but I guess that would be a replacement for Monopoly, and Diplomacy's an excellent choice.

Just got back from PAX east. Bought netrunner and legendary. Only played legendary so far, and I think it is extremely fun.

That was in reference to the game I bought. I have no idea where ManB brought Stratego from.
