Here are the 48 territory maps with armies. Thanks again Coleman.

Any other suggestions?

              Final Forge

---The Great Lakes Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be at least two days (but may extend pass that) for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

One thing that is mildly unpleasant to my eye are the country names at the lack of evenness. It just always catches my eye, but it is a minor thing and it just may be my bad eyes that are bothering. :)

But the map is looking beautiful.

I don't know. I see the uneven text too. Other than that the map is great.

Thunder Bay is rather too relatively big. I don't suppose you could extend Moosonee and Sault Ste Marie out west somewhat?

Can I just clarify, at the start the lakes could attack adjacent lakes, but I'm assuming that that has changed since then?

I don't get the uneven text bit though heh

I wrote the xml so that the lakes can attack the lakes they are connected to. Every place where there are arrows connecting two pieces of land is a bridge over a place where the lakes connect.

Oh I see... but at the moment it looks like the arrows are blocking the connections between each lake, and people might assume they aren't allowed to carry out an attack from lake to lake. Can it be made clearer somehow?

Here are the updates. I fixed the bumpy wavy text.
I also added text explaining that adjacent lakes can attack.

I think I might make the title bigger and take up a little more of the Thunder Bay space.
Plus I need to adjust the North Bay text out of the army circle on the small map.

Could the text be made more obvious? Perhaps light highlighting it?

By this do you mean?
Superior can attack Huron.
Huron can attack Michigan.
Huron can attack Erie.
Erie can attack Ontario.
(and vice versa)
