Where the hell is the most recent map? It's really hard to join the arguments/see what's up when you don't have a pg reference in the title.

I'd like to know what's up at the moment. Did Andy and/or Keyogi ask for something and it hasn't happened? Or is it something else?

everyone is asking to make the borders better, but a few and qwert and prophet refuse to do it

I'll bring you up to speed... The borders are pretty varied in thickness and pretty pixellated in some areas. Lone posted the PSD file and I took a look, gave him my advice (he has several layers of different borders that make it difficult to get consistency at the moment - I advised him to just re-draw them with a single thickness brush and add a little blur. Maybe twenty minutes work, but there's no way to do it with the current version).

When he posts the image you'll see several areas, specifically the banks of the river, are really noticeable.

As for Qwert, guys (Wisse especially) there really is no point in continuing to argue with him. I believe he's already had a warning from mods, and we're doing nothing but provoking the sillyness. Lets just ignore it and try and give constructive advice. Whether or not Lone accepts it is another matter...

Both Andy and I have full support from Lack. Any word from either of us is in the Foundry is as good as a word from Lack himself. 8)

I dont think any banning should be done...I love these foundry debates.

This time ive got to say that the Foundry has got it spot on...The lines are blurred and not constant at all.

Give it some more work lone.

You're the only person stopping this map Lone. Fix the problems that people have identified with the borders and then show us what you have.

The only other thing I think that needed to be done would be move some of the army shadows slightly. There are other little things that could be done to make the map look a bit nicer, but they were just suggestions and it's ok if you didn't like them.

So, put a little bit of work into your map and show us your large and small maps with numbers. It's the only way to progress forwards.
