Platinum and/or Diamond Medals

Concise description:

• Add a level to medals that is above gold.

Specifics/Details:

• Currently, for most medal types, bronze is 20, silver is 100, and gold is 400.
• Add level(s) above gold. Many names have been suggested, but the most common are platinum or diamond.
• The most common number for the first level is 1000-1200. If there is a level above, it should be 2000-2500.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• This will give people more reason to try all different game types and keep playing more games. This is good for players and good for the site, as many players have hit maximum levels for many medal types.

Plainum Medal:

The Medal is awarded for having the most/best qualifications for a medal amongst the entire site.

e.g someone might have won the most terminater games so they get a terminater platinum medal for having the most

best suggestion I've seen - there are already lots of medals in circulation (haven't finished a winning game to pick up my bronzes yet), but the platinum ones would be a mark apart.

Blitz, as I mentioned in GD, you're missing out on THE FACT that we need to have one medal to rule them all, one medal to find them, one medal to bring them all, and...oops got carried away,

but very simply what we need is the HERO medal at the top of the tree.

This is awarded like the conqueror status to the person top of the scoreboard. Very simply, the person with the most kills, maps or ratings in each medal category holds the HERO medal until they are overtaken by the next HERO.

If two or more players have the same number of kills, maps, etc they each hold the medal (i.e. for all maps completed) terms and conditions may apply, your HERO status is at risk if you fail to maintain your kills total.

If your going to add platinum, I thank you for doing so, but diamond should also be the ultimate implementation after platinum, with all do respect, it would be the grand daddy, and I would make it a little further out so more difficult to accomplish but possible

I think it would be better if it were, say, the top 1% rather than just the number one spot...

As soon as it was available, tons of people would and could get it. Very quickly it wouldn't be all that big of a deal to have that medal.

Based on the current medals, I would like to see additional levels of accomplishment. Currently, the levels for awards are 20, 100, and 400. Some players have eclipsed the 400 level and are likely well into the 1000 level. Could you add a "platinum achievement" for players who have accomplished 1000 victories of the types currently awarded...as well as a platinum for map victories?

I think that would be really cool and I support additional types of awards whatever they may be.

Well I understand that golds seem really far away and out of reach for both of you. But there is no reason not to add a higher level for ppl to shoot for.

Medals make high ranked people enter maps/settings they dont like or are not good at... Once the generals have their golds, they just play their "safe" matches.

When you guys hit some golds, I think your tune would be a little diff.

I was'nt being sarcastic I was serious there should be a platinum medal then a diamond.and agree about high ranks "coasting" this is why I think there should be a sequential medal as well.The way it is currently set up a freestyler can achieve all medals just playing freestyle...

Agree, a few more medals tiers would be nice.

Also agree that there's a problem when freestyle players can get all the medals, but seq players cannot.

Either a seq medal should be added, or the standard single medal should count only for seq games.
