Ok. I don't have as much time as I thought. I will make a barebones schedule if you want. Basically, it will be that every team plays every team in their conference. Then I fill up to 16 games with interconference games. It won't be based on the actual schedule at all. If that is fine, I will go ahead. I also need to know that there are actually one or two people willing to run this after I make the schedule, as I have no interest/time for running this sort of tournament.

I failed in attempts previous to this, and now have decided to leave the site (and others) permanently, although I regret I may be too late to repair the damage done to my marriage.

I've come close to that point. It's tough to find the right balance. Good luck!

OK .... so we are going to try to save this. I appreciate Doomyoshi's offer to make the schedule, but I think we can do better than the quickie schedule that he proposed since I think a good chunk of the fun is the fact that the teams follow the actual schedules of the college season. Is anyone out there besides Hath of the mind to volunteer to help? The goal is going to be divide and conquer. We can't let the tournament consume any one of us.

I agree.....plus flex always had the bonuses that could be earned in the little mini tournaments that took place. I think the actual schedule needs to be followed or abandon the tourney altogether.

It is not possible to follow the actual schedule as Many of the schools that are in this tourney play games vs schools that are not in the tourney.

For instance my team Missouri does not play TCU at all, but my week 1 game was vs TCU. I dont think SEMO and Appalachian state are involved in this tourney and they are both on the Tiger's schedule.

Many teams in the small tourneys that start the season arent in this tourney either.

I think what flex did was try to match those teams up against other teams that were free that week. He also combined certain leagues and recreated their schedules when there were enough holes in a league-wide schedule.

After finding no luck in their first game; Tennessee avoided a second loss after getting 2nd turn in all 3 games. "An 0-2 start would have put us in a bad state of mind," Coach VOL declared. "We have a tough conference schedule. We need to rack up wins and build momentum ahead of that."

Hello, I'm catching up on things within this event. If I can assist, please let me know. I'm anticipating some "down" time during the holidays, which would allow me to contribute further in coordinating schedules, etc...

Please let me know. :)

I didn't want to possibly say anything insensitive; so I did not comment initially. But let me say now that I wish Flex good fortune going forward. Cheers on starting the greatest tournament. May it continue to go forth.
