High rank RT's

Post by Georgerx7di »

Some of you may wonder if there are rt's available with only high ranking players. Good news, there are. I make about one a night usually around 9 pm est. Mine usually have 3 or 4 colonels and 2 or 3 majors.

They are stnd seq esc unl

Scott-land, (colonel), makes several rt's a day, usually with a similar demographic. Kid-A, (colonel), makes them and I think dustin45 (major), still does too.

If you are a high ranking player and want to play rt's but hate having noobs screw up your games, feel free to look one of us up. If you see that I have a game open with those setting, then it's probably and rt. Feel free to pm me for the pw if you want in. Mine is usually the same. Scott keeps his pw the same too, and I think kid's doesn't change.

If you want to get invited, (I don't post these in chat, b/c too many noobs join), just leave a reply to this thread, or pm me. Also this thread can be used by others who start high rank rt's.

I usually only invite majors and above, although if I really can't fill it I may invite a captain. Also on occasion I may have a friend join who is a sergeant, but usually it's all colonels and majors.

I've played in quite a few of your rts and really enjoyed it. The only problem was that most of them are too late for me to play, so it would be really helpful if people interested posted so I could make some rts at a good time for me and check if any of the interested people are on.

And just so I'm not checking all day, when do you, scott and kid usually make your rts?

Having played in some RTs with george, scott, kid A, and the rest of their motley assortment of folk, I can say that they're an absolute blast and some of the most fun I've had on this site. (especially since all but one of my other RT experiences were horrific)

But being on the west coast means it's hard for me to play all that often. :(

CK- I pmed ya a list of the guys I play rt's with per request.....not all but the ones that play most frequently and their time zones. Incandenza- Nietzsche and Kid_A run there rts around 11:00 Pacific coast time and Georgerx7di has them at 7:00 so between the two of them ya should have no problems finding a game.

Not sure how high of a rank you're talking here, but I would love to find some players with higher scores to play 2x2 freestyle games against. I rarely see such games, and usually have to settle for games with majors and lower ranks, or muster the patience for sequential.

free style singles rt is a bad setting. Someone will always wait till the rest finish and then take a bonus. Then the others will accuse him of dishonest tactics, and rightly so. So for this reason I never play freestyle rt's. It's ok for fake time games if you want to speed them up, but most of the upper rank players won't even do that, because it has a few draw backs in that area too. mainly when your almost finished taking someone out and then someone else logs on and finishes them.

Affirmative, I don't play anything else really. I tried a triples game a while ago and hated it--sequential triples, especially, feels like it takes FOREVER. That and 3 player strategies are probably too much for me to handle anyway. I haven't played standard for a loooong while. They pissed me off because from what I can remember they were too hard for me... too many factors, and it seemed like one player always found a way to ruin the game for someone else. I guess that's the way it goes when more than 2 people/teams are trying to win. I stopped playing 6 player doubles for the same reason.

That's just my preference though.

If you say so.... Standard is my favourite setting. I've have never played trips, and i have lost over 200 points playing dubs. So, yes. I suck at team games :)
