I draw your attention to point number 2. Random vote. Why would a member of the town cast a random vote?

Why?

1. To get people to start talking. It worked.

2. On day one, the worst possible thing the town can do is no lynch. It is better to lynch a townie than it is to not lynch at all, because every lynch gives the town more information, especially regarding who attacked whom, who defended whom, and what the alignment of the deceased is. Mafia is not a numbers game; it is a game of logical deduction, but for that deduction to work the town must have information. Lynching is the only way to get that information.

The only power the town has is to vote. I make a point of exercising it. With nothing else to go on, I'll place a vote on someone at random (or, maybe I'll place a vote on someone I know).

1. Actually I didn't really. I kinda lost track. This isn't the time nor place to call use the noob excuse. You have one vote against you. If you were being jumped on by everyone then you could use it effectivly.

2. I did explain the ins-and-outs of a no lynch vote. Go check why I voted for you but exclude the phrase, "you should know by now".

3. I didn't have any heat accept a submarining vote. Those are taken away when you become active and explain why you were quiet. You do have heat for that revenge vote. Now your trying to put your heat on me.

Not wanting to throw anything, but knowing this game is mostly made from new player ( like me ) I don't think throwing an accusation like this would be worth anything. She probably doesn't know what to do..neither do I .

If I always cut everyone slack for being new, I'll never suspect anyone (except LSU). Plus, FOS'ing scummy behavior is a way to prevent scummy behavior in the future.

I didn't vote (I didn't think it was quite big enough an infraction), but it was suspicious nonetheless. If Cynthia starts posting more in response, great - I got my point across, and the town benefits. If not, well, I've got some spare rope lying around.

There's one thing that seems obvious to me - most of you aren't paranoid enough yet. You have to realize that probably three of the people you're speaking with really are out to get you, and want to sneak up on you in the night and blow your brains out. The only way to find out who they are is to talk, and talk like crazy.

Submarining, or not posting but watching the game, is considered scummy. Don't do it. I'm not even going to fos you. It was a sheer newbish mistake that made sense in your mind. It's been corrected though so you should take the chance and learn from it.

As I said before the only ones that I'm fairly sure of not being scum at this point is myself and Aimless since I don't think the mod would give the powerroles to the more experienced players in this game.

lmao relax. this is the game to try to teach you how to react to getting a fos or voted on. that reaction you had would be OMGUS type of one that would generally get a bunch of people to vote on you as a suspect.

Possibly, but at most this game it would be one since I know I sure didn't get it lmao. it would've been fun to have though since a newbie town would make for easy pickings especially if the newbie power roles don't know how to work.
