I'd give it some time before we go rework his map, he could just be on holidays or something. That said, I do think it needs to be improved.

This map is pretty dodge actually. I played a couple of games.
Quite interestint now that i am playing a triples game. After reading the forum i went for cambodia but i have a teamate who had cochinchina and attacking north and another which is going for Laos, so basically i am stuck in cambodia with no where to attack just reinforcing everyone.

yah, definately only 2, if you take Phenom Penh you have a four country, 2 border continent very similar to S. America. Along with Scandnavia in Europe map, one of the most overvalued continents,
Highest Score: 1843 Ranking (Australians): 3

I think the better way is just remove this map to the trash can.

lol, yeah this is one of the two least popular maps (the other being Crossword). It's just one big choke point, doesn't play well at all.

Heh, I thought that too, but do a search for active games on the game finder. There's 1 page of Indochina games and Circus Maximus actually goes out to two pages.

Could we get back to my point that the map is broken?
And to disprove you, if you search for all the games ever made, there are 24 pages of Indochina and 16 of Circus Maximus.
Circus Maximus is not more popular then Indochina. END!
Anyway, could we redraw it or redo the xml please? lol

Indochina is older than Circus Maximus. That doesn't mean more people play it, it just means it's been around longer so more games have been played on it. As you have shown. With current popularity, Indochina is lower.

I think it would be sweet if someone remade/revamped this map. Despite all the negative comments, I like the playability of this map alot- it's different and challenging. I think you could fix the error coleman mentioned, and change the bonuses around a little bit. Maybe add a few (as in 1-3) impassable borders, and it'd be 10 times better. I don't see reason for more contenients, but then again i don't know why some numbers are better than others.

I'm completely against altering the game play of the map, I just want the border glitch fixed and maybe a graphics overhaul.
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.
