What if we were to call the UK "Uck!"?

sorry to be a nitpicking douchebag, but the new map version makes it look like there is a border for attack between European Onion and Arabia. If there is, then it's awesome! If not, then I suggest a redraw of that border. Otherwise, I think it's ready to go, DIMwit. You could argue over ideas for territory names forever. It's an awesome map, so finish it off already so we can play it!

There is, and point. Unless anyone has any serious objections in the next half an hour -- just about time for a nice private dinner at home -- I'll come up with the small version and do the XML.

It's a play on European Union. Also I like onions. Is that a problem?

the words 'Europead Onion' looks rather too squashed for my liking..

and if there is a border between Arabia and European Onion, perhaps you could make the border flat so that the borders look connected, or make one of them smaller and use the pink line.

other than that, great map :D

Some of the spelling mistakes and strange names people have suggested are over the top, but I like most of the ones you've chosen.

How about 'Rusha' and 'More Rusha' as an addition? It seems like a simple phonetic spelling mistake that a kid would make.

Also you could break More Rusha into two lines to keep the text relatively horizontal, if not completely.

Minor minor minor - but there's a bit of colour join between africa and arabia... unless it's there on purpose - but Crayons don't usually blend like paint?

I think you should add 6 more territories, to make the total territory count 24, because, although I like the idea of having very few territories, 18 seems to border on unplayable. You could divide North America into three territories and have the extra one be called "Disneyland" or something to that effect.

Border on the unplayable, though, that's the idea -- that's what minimalism is, go as small as you can. That's a minimum. If someone else wants to make a 24-territory map, I support their endeavors wholly. If someone wants to make a 17-territory map, I will be surprised, but if it tests well and plays fine then I will be very surprised. And then support their endeavors wholly.

Two comments:
Europe should be something sillier, like "Your Up!" or "I'm up!".
And will the kid seriously know about the Caspian Sea?

Look upon Draft 17, ye mighty, and despair:
Image

Issues addressed:
- ) De-blended Asia and Africa (And Asia and Europe, see below)
- ) Shifted Europe a pixel north and a pixel west; added pink line between Arabia and Onion
- ) Started XML; just need army coordinates now.

Issued not addressed:
- ) Small version
- ) Any other brilliant ideas
