Dear Members,

Conquer Club has been a wonderful adventure for me since I launched it in 2006. I've met so many great people and thoroughly enjoyed the creative process. There is no question about it, this website has magic and it was a privilege to be its webmaster!

I appreciate that quite a few of you have pushed me to face the reality - I no longer have the resources to take this website further. So passing the torch to El_Jefe and his team is the best thing I can do for Conquer Club. They can not only keep the magic alive, but they can bring this website to an entirely different level of success and innovation.

Moving forward, I'm going to stick around on the admin team as "outgoing webmaster" for as long as I'm needed. I still have more technical and business knowledge to transfer and I'm eager to help out with my experience and programming skills. Yes, a few more updates by "lackattack" are in the pipeline! I also have plans to start playing again with the goal of reaching Lieutenant once I eventually become a member-at-large with no responsibilities

Our faithful Support Admin King Achilles will stay on. On top of answering player queries and running our C&A department, he'll be an important anchor of support for the new management.

Please join me in embracing our new leadership... El_Jefe and Rrdsrds2120! With this injection of fresh energy and resources, Conquer Club should be a truly exciting club to be part of. It's like 2006 all over again!

In the coming weeks, I'll be taking a second/third/fourth/fifth look at the Suggestions forum. I don't want to say "In time" because oh, how long it's been, but I'm really going to try and assert and engage the Suggestions (granted the programmer can keep up with me ).

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. A few people have asked about the huge gap (five years) in my account activity here. Allow me to explain...
I started to play CC and was just getting into it. My son got the bug so I helped him get set up as well. He got hooked and soon begged me for premium membership (how could I refuse?). Then he played for a few months but, as kids do, eventually got distracted (with 20+ games on the go). I played his account so he wouldn't deadbeat all his games and soon I was hooked on the speed games and improving his ranking. Suddenly five years and 1500+ games go by. The current admins suggested I revert back to my ID for this transition as he had some personal info in game comments and plenty of seven year old fits of rage after a run of bad luck.
That is all. Feel free to let the conspiracy theories start to fly.
