I was thinking at first he wanted to fly but didn't plan it out enough so it ended up being reported wrong. It wasn't until Niets brought it up I thought of how it was bad timing that he did it when the Prime minister was attacked by baboons.

Haggis is right though, there's lots of great layers to most of these seemingly simple comics.

I'm not sure if it's the punchline but I found it hilarious that his death was over-shadowed by such a trivial event such as a baboon attacking the prime minister.

I don't get this one

Why am I not surprised ;)

He decided to go out in a specular way but then the news ended up being overshadowed by another story.

To me it meant something like this; An idiot goes and kills himself, and nobody really cares or realize what his true intention was.
I don't think the comic ever hinted that he wanted to kill himself, he just wanted to fly lol.

Yeah I saw it as an attempt on the writer's part to point out the gap between what we think of our own actions and what others think of them, mixed with a little irony. However, like any writer he/she is biased. In this case the writer is betraying him/herself as a massive pessimist. Incidentally, only a massive pessimist would find it very humorous.

I'd rather be a pessimist than an optimist thinking he can fly.

He's not flying! The yet motor and wings do that for him. If yet motors and wings counts as natural extension of the human body, I've flown too! Even more impressingly, I was sitting down while I flew!!

That is sort of counterbalanced with the fact that I was sitting down while I flew. Have you ever even seen a bird that can fly while sitting? :)

That one is pretty spectacular. I imagine his mood change as he realizes his error.

No, he made a pact to have the biggest penis in the earth. I know because I made one myself, it happened just like that.

Exactly. You could have a bent two inch erect penis and be able to bring women to orgasm. In fact it might even help. The first two inches of vagina are where nearly all the sensitivity is.

Medically if your penis is too large E.D. Is likely even in youth.

 BBS

This reminds me of an Asimov short story about a genius who theorizes that the planets are like petri dishes and we are just test subjects being observed by higher life-forms. One of his reasons is that logically, us humans don't have much going for us in the way of evolution and we only are where we are because we've been selected for experimentation.

Some thoughts:
Survival of the fittest is determined mostly by physical features such as strength, speed, agility etc...
What puts us above other animals is (excluding our brains) we're bipedal and we have thumbs (letting us use advanced tools), just like many primates. Our advantage I suppose is that we have developed advanced communication.
