Map Explorers Tournament I-Journey to KCII Winner-ChrisPond

Map Explorers is a group dedicated to helping its members learn and enjoy maps that are new to them. Sometimes they're new to particular members sometimes they'll be new to us all (Beta Maps). To help us all to learn some more about maps we'll be running tournaments for all interested parties to enjoy. To qualify for this particular tournament you'll need to have no more than 10 wins on the map at the time of acceptance (to be verified with map rank).

Map: Kings Court II (Beta)
Size: 32 Players
Format: Mixed
Settings: All games will be Auto, Seq, No Spoils, Chained, Fog, 30 Rounds, No Trench.

Particulars:
Players will be placed randomly into Groups of 4 where they will play 6 dubs matches. Each match they will be partnered with someone else from the Group and thus will be able to play at least 2 games as partner with each member of the group. Each round games will be played all at the same time so sorry folks but it will be premium only. Winners will be awarded 1 point each.

The top 2 players from each group will move forward to the next round where the process repeats itself. It there is a tie on points then the tie breakers will be as follows:

2 way tie: 1 v 1 match on the map - winner advances
3 way tie: 3 player match on the map: winner advances

Finally when we are down to 1 pair of players they will play a best of 3 series of 1v1 games on the map to determine the final winner. A maximum of 2 invites will be sent out for any game. If anyone does not accept both invites then they will be replaced in Round 1... any further Round will see the person who would have been next to qualify from the relevant Group (previous round) replacing them.
