Well, I'm not going to convince you of anything, so I will let the Graphics CA's do their job :)

Ye of little faith, getting it done now and then we can all decide on which one goes forward. But this is a very large fix and will take time. It is not just rocks bit a lot of the elements that sit next to them that need re doing. Give me time.

What happened to the original rock? I haven't been here for awhile.

It is still there, I am just doing a blocky version and then will get people to decide on which is best.

Here are the two versions of the map. The top one is the one with the rounded rocks and the second one is the one asked for by RedBaron0. I have set up a poll which I will keep open for one week and then after that is done with, the winner will be the one to go forward.
Original - rounded rock.

new - square Blocks

Personally, I prefer the second one. But this your map so really you should choose which one and go with it. It is nothing to stop it from getting stamped.

i'm going original. it gives the map character. not only that, you've changed some of the elements.
the square version looks far too clinical. :)

I like the idea of the squares, if the squares looked a little more like the big blocks in the original.

Do you mean one of the first drafts or the test one I did for RB0 a page or so back.

The squares are good. Add a bit of wear and tear to them and drop some shadows and they'll look much better.

I'm not a fan of the square rocks...I think they looked better the way they were before.

Well, after a week long poll and a PM sent out to around 30+ members that have commented on this map, we have 24 votes. 14 for the original rounded rocks and 10 for the new squared rocks. So now that we have a winner, here is the one to go forward. Removed the ground under the Minitors as requested and polished the image.

Change the impassables in the legend on the large. Then as far as I'm concerned this can be moved on.

Last Call

If anyone has any other comments on graphics, now is the time to speak up! If there are no other concerns within the next couple of days, this map will be moved to the Final Forge!

Like how, open to any suggestions but I like sigs to be understated.

To be honest, I didn't even notice the sig until IcePack pointed it out.

And that to me is what a sig should be like. But as I say, give me an idea to play with.

nice work =D>
about graphics
have ever tested the map readability with 888's
and what did you try to represent with slave entrance squares
De gueules à la tour d'argent ouverte, crénelée de trois pièces, sommée d'un donjon ajouré, crénelé de deux pièces
Gules an open tower silver, crenellated three parts, topped by a apertured turret, crenellated two parts

coloured 888s in first post.
Slave entrances are gates, roofs. Just a simple thing to show getting in to the game area.

Added a corner rock which I missed, sorted out the grass for RB0, removed the spear targets (bombard regions) where a normal attack is and played with the sig.

Sorry they are very small, still could not get visicheck to work so another site only allows very small files to be uploaded.
