Is there a CC policy on subbing during a tournament?

Seems flat wrong to me.

There are no rules about subbing during a tourney - the general account sitting guidelines will apply.

Having said that, I don't see a problem with one member of a doubles team taking occasional turns for the other in a sequential game. It has to be assumed that they are coordinating their moves anyway.

I would add that a colonel taking turns for a major is fine - I would see a problem if there was a bigger difference in rank.

[spoiler=format]You will go out of the tournament if you lose two games in a row.

Rounds
The teams will be randomly split into 2 groups of 8
They will then be randomly drawn against each other until there is one survivor in each group

The Final
The 2 group winners will be sent games in batches of 2
The tournament will be won by the first team to win both games in a batch

If there is an odd number of teams in a group
One team will be chosen randomly to sit out the round.
If consecutive rounds are uneven then the team who sat out the previous round will play and a different team will sit out the round.
teams who have missed a round will not be able to miss another round until:
All the teams still in have sat out a round.

Maps
Maps will be chosen from the list at the end of the post using Random.org
If a map from your banned list is chosen for your game a new one will be picked.

You do not have to choose any maps to ban if you don't want to
A list of which maps are banned by which teams will be added when the tournament starts.

The map list will not be added to during the tournament.[/spoiler]

1. You will have 48 hours to join games - 2 invites.
   If you fail to take up your invites then the other team gets the win.
2. If a team member is kicked during a game the other team will be given the win.
3. If a team member drops out you will have 24 hours to replace them but only get one invite to the next round.
4. Each player can only be on one team.
