Re: Football (real)
I'll take a draw for our first day back, as we certainly aren't a team built to compete with Stoke, but if we play like that on Wednesday against Chelsea there could be a hammering! Still, point on the board!

As an Arsenal fan, I'm looking forward to another typical season. Dominate all game, and fail to actually win it.
No comments on the RVP move?

I'm sure the RVP comments will follow tomorrow when he helps to demolish Everton - I actually think the Rooney/RVP strike force could potentially be better than any other one I have ever seen if they can click properly (which is scary if, like me, you're not a Man Utd fan...)

€100 on United for tonight...
That's gambling but hopefully Rooney will be fucking motivated and give his best.

Everton 1, Manchester United 0. Sorry Alex, we don't give refunds. Cheers for the £24 million.

Is it that hard to notice a clear offside at the top level? Feeling pretty robbed, but at least we played well, which is important at this stage of the season!

So that was what it looked like.
I was listening to the game on my SiriusXM satelite radio. I'm convinced; you need to be slightly insane to listen to football on the radio.
My co-worker who once lived in India thinks something is wrong with that league. He says your teams score way to much.

Football on the radio has got to be the tensest thing ever! I was in row 2 at the other end, so really couldn't tell what was happening haha.

Re: Football (real)
Why is Sahin going to Liverpool? They are not winning any trophies in the near future, and they won't get top 4 any time soon. Stupid move, he would have fitted in better at Arsenal and at least got to play in the CL.

Re: Football (real)
I almost forgot, a few weeks ago when Chelsea was across the pond in Yankee Stadium I did manage to snap a few pictures. I threw a linear blur on this one. Makes the players really pop. They were playing Paris Saint Germain at the time.

Can you spot where they put the sod over the normally dirt baseball infield?

Re: Football (real)
a close one today but we managed to get the win , Man Utd 3-2 Fulham , Van Peirse and kagawa both get their first goals for the club which is great to see but we are hurting bad in defense with so many injuries and now rooney is added to the injury list

Football hasn't started yet... they're just in the pre-season right now.

That.
You like "tough" guys that have make-up on their face and wear an armor because they're afraid to get hurt when they play some pale imitation of rugby?
Fine.
But just stay away from here.

Well technically it's only been qualifying rounds in the Europa and Champions League ... the real matches don't start until September.
