Ok since he lost his daily double, what happens to all that money? and what does jeopardytempest win?

Since a Daily Double freezes the other players out of answering on the real game show...it's similar here.

kmhebert wins the map, he gets his wager added to his score. He loses the map (which I assume he did) and he loses the wager.
hebert retains control for the next answer choice.

Just terrible. JeopardyTempest cashed with 3 cards EVERY SINGLE time! I flipped out at the end, I actually had to leave my house for a couple hours. HA I should not get that way about an online game but I really thought I had it, obviously this drops me out of the tournament. Nothing against him of course, he earned the win, I just hate to lose THAT way. In fact I can't recall EVER losing a game like that!

I know how you feel, and that is an absolutely terrible way to end your chances in a tournament that has gone on for this long. However, you still have a few games to get him back a little.

Sorry for the delay, I got called out of town on a work assignment (got to cover the Little League World Series this year...what a blast)...anyway, back now and ready to start punching tickets to the tournament championship...Board #3 is just a handful of maps away from Final Jeopardy.

I was covering the Gresham National team...they went 0-3...but not really about Ws-Ls at that point...all the teams are so thrilled just to take part. It was pretty cool to see...what sports is all about.
