It has nothing to do with Libertarianism, or social Conservatism, or anything political. It's called being an American with the right to speak freely and worship freely, without being discriminated against.
According to the sentiments expressed above, you support Same Sex Marriage and I agree these people should be accorded the same rights as all citizens.

For example...you are right. I do support same sex marriage, in any state that votes to change the definition.

That's the thing though. I don't have different views. What is different about saying marriage is a union between a man and a woman, when that is all it ever has been. It's not hate speech, it's acknowledging where we came from, and nature, tradition, the importance of procreation, ritual.

From what I've seen, Neoteny has calmly maintained that you're being a dick and that he disagrees with your style of communicating ideas. That's the total opposite of "freaking out," but seeing that you're the victim here, I guess it makes sense that "they" are being hysterical while you and your cohorts are the only rational ones.
But however you choose to cope with this, at least choose a productive means for doing so. Turning fiction into facts, as with Neoteny's alleged "freaking out," is just another dick move.
