Chuck D - Abuse [Closed] DCR

Accused: [player]chuck D[/player]

The accused are suspected of: Severe PM Abuse

Game number(s): Game 11380636

Comments: Chuck D got mad during the game and we both exchanged comments during the game chat. I'm a big boy and I was okay with this...people get upset over different game strategies.

Chuck D then sent me a PM (screen shot attached) that said, "really? you're 44, seem to have a gray collar job, have a wife (but who hasn't had her, is the question, really) and you play like a drunk 12 yr old... go f*ck yourself you private bastard. play another 1000 games here and maybe you'll make cadet..." (by chuck D on Sat Jul 14, 2012 8:27 pm)

Now, I'm pissed. Chuck D made a personal reference about my wife, who happens to be a licensed Wesleyan pastor. We play a game, but for this man to make a reference like that about my wife is too far.

I would like to see Chuck D punished for his comments about my wife...that was too far.

I think everyone blew their load on the HA, GLG, and COH C&A reports. We're just looking for a little bit less high profile case and then this came up. Between this, the gayface report and the one by the kid, we're just glad there's a little lower stakes. :-^

maybe because you aren't a good player? not sure bud..

anyhow... in the interests of full disclosure, chuck is one of my buds on this site, and we've played many games with and against each other... He is a very intelligent witty guy, and what he PM'd the offended person here is par for the course with chuck... funny as hell, witty, and accurate... if the maker of this thread really is in his 40's, and really was offended, then that's really the funny part of this whole thing...

Ok...It's the next morning and I've had a chance to calm down...let's just drop this whole thing.

It was two guys, playing a game, who BOTH decided to act like little boys with name-calling. I accept my end of the immaturity and take ownership of it.

No harm...no foul...let's move on...

It happens sometimes,all of us get aggravated and say stuff in game chat,thats why the rules are different there,basically as long as you are not a bigot you can pretty much let it all out.

hey, late to my own roast... pls, pls.. carry on. anywho, based on the OP's complaint against me. i've really re-evaluated my entire life. i've made amends to everyone i've ever insulted, online or in person. i've started eating my veggies and using blinkers. i've stopped calling noobs "stupid bastards" if they are bonus monkeys in 8 player esc games (and even held my tongue when the said bonus monkeys turn into attack monkeys out of spite and embarrassment of being called out as inferior players). i will stop taking the bait of players w/ not enough skills and far too much anger. i will never again mix a new belgium fat tire six-pack w/ CC speed games on a weekend nite. awwww, wtf am i kidding (w=who)... i am chuck D. hear my roar. i got a 4.8 w/ 7000 games. i'm pretty sure i don't need to change anything. but the OP certainly could use some meditation and quiet time to figure out why he's suck an enormous <self edit> who probably <self edit... self edit> while also regularly <self edit.....>

but what i'll remember from this post is that some of the ol BPBs still got my back. wow... maybe i should contribute to the ol' clan somehow again... sometime... somewhere... over the rainbow (oops, wrong clan).

I have played with chuck many times he is a good guy. But like all of us including me we lose it once in a while when we encounter people fu**ing with us. Unfortunately the punished at here at CC is very bias. Often the REAL wrong doers a protected and the abusers are given a pass. Just like the guy who breaks into my house so I shot him and I get charged with a crime. My policy is if you start something with me I will finish it. Rude comments? All's fair in love and war. Chuck got pissed off and went off on the guy and his wife... so what. Let mister big boy take care of himself and not do things to others that might piss them off. Sometimes you have to kick someone in the ass to get their attention.
