Gee, thanks. Not that I'm actually having problems. But still thanks; I was wondering where this was.

WM...that is extremely generous of you to share...I am sure it will be a productive assist to reduce time on this issue for many cartographers.

Since the beginning of time (around a year ago) map makers at Conquer Club.com have been using there amazing abilities to develop and create wonderfully beautiful maps for all to enjoy.
But in the dark lurks a menace. It has given rise to arguments and fueled frustration in many a cartographer.
It is the dreaded army number circle shadow thingy.
Basically if you are making a map and use this circle, the numbers will fit perfectly and there will be more more "1 pixel to the left" stuff.

I'd say no, they have enough stickies. Now if we added a bunch of other useful info, such as ideal territory counts (60 & 120 are perfect) or other things maybe.

um... the 'army circle file' is a 22px circle, able to be reproduced in any graphics program in about 3 seconds. nothing worth sticking.
throw it in the 'how to make a map' thread if you want it to hang around.

Here's a query for you...
Can you tell me what font the numbers are? And what size they are too?
Cheers,

-> They're 14px not 14pt... subtle difference...
Also the font seems a bit different... the 1's don't have bars at the bottom?!

Cheers very much...
(Ignore the stroke -> I can't replicate that using a browser font as far as I know!)
