We're ready to go for round 1 -- I'm waiting on a map and settings selection from one last player, then we're all set to go. I have tournament privileges, so I'll send out round 1 games soon ... ideally once I know all of the maps and settings for the field of players.

Round 1 is wrapping up ... 5 out of 15 games remain in progress, although only 3 of them are likely to have any bearing on the makeup of Round 2. We have 5 players going through to Round 2 already, and what looks to be a close battle to avoid being the "slowest fastest finishers" of the round with wins in round 6 or 7.

I'll be sending out Round 2 games in the next 24 to 48 hours -- looks like we have enough results in from Round 1 to determine who moves on. The matchups between gimli and epicgb have been close fought and are going over 13 or 14 rounds, making those who recorded 6 round wins safe and moving on to Round 2.
