so just played a 1v1 game.. whats up with the allied hospital being completely safe from bombards?
then atleast germany needs some auto-deploy or something..

if allied starts and instead of taking foxhole just takes the hospital thats a unbreakable +2 bonus.. seems really silly, no?

It's the same for the German Hospital (once the new xml is uploaded).

And both sides will lose the 1v1 feel when it is as both players will be spread onto both sides till I can figure a way to get this balanced for the 1v1 game.

When I opened the link, I got a bunch of code that Int. Expl. (which I never use if I can help it) disabled to keep my system safe and I had no clue how to use it. Old fart with severe comp illiteracy issues. I just started my first game here and would love to have my GFH bonus but I agree that you should take the time to get it right and def not change anything ('cept fixin bugs) until after it's outta beta... if then.

I eagerly await the GFH fix and thank you all for you work.

That code you saw was xml code. This is what tells the games how to play. Nothing wrong with it all all. The bonus will be fixed when it is uploaded.

I apologize if this is already being addressed, but I wanted to point out something I noticed.

If this map is played with the trench setting, as I'm sure it was intended to be played on, isn't in impossible to cross the center since you won't be able to get from safe zone to safe zone before being reset to 1 neutral? Realistically, it seems like it would be possible that two people eliminate each other from each side of them map and then be in a stalemate? Am I missing something?

Hi Kuma, this map was newer intended to be played on trench settings, as the setting was imployed after I made the map (gameplay and grafix) if the map was supposed to be created for trench setting is was then taking in a total diffrent direction, Im sure ther are ohter maps this setting dosent apply to aswell.
So what Im saying is this: "trench game settings" have absolute nothing to do with the map "trench warfare" I dont know who came up with the idea for the name for the game setting, it just have a misfortune coincidence. If one dont like the combination, then dont play it.

Have any of you ever actually played with the trench setting? This is like the 4th question in this thread regarding this.

The trench setting does not go into effect on killer neutrals. Therefore, I can take as many killer neutrals as the dice allow me to on one single turn, allowing me to cross the no mans land and leave a stack on the other side without any problems.

And the question still arises. :P I think it goes to show how popular this setting is that no one really seems to know how it works. :lol:

Same day the game setting was launched some one PM me "Hey cool game settings you have created" and I was like huh :-s what the f... is he talking about.

For a map with such blatant and big bugs, it seems quite poor that the update hasn't been uploaded yet.

I imagine that this has already been reported but the GFH bonus includes N16 for some reason and so cannot be taken.

Whilst I think this is a great map and a totally different game which I like it has one or two issues:

Bottom part of the map starts with 19 regions and the top with 20 in a 1 v 1 game.

In all games I have played so far the person holding the hospital bonus at the top of the map does not receive it.

In one game of singles I played my opponent was getting 14 armies per turn v my 10 and we held the same regions

Otherwise map is great - love it

hey guys like to add great map easy to follow and readable legend for a change 1v1 trench great fun.
only one thing is in team games is there anyway when troops deployed they can all be on one side or the other to make a proper battle if that makes any sense to have them all mixed up just makes the map not fun to play at all.

That cannot be done yet for team games. Trying to work out a 1v1 that does this and does not bugger the large game up. Had a go but it failed. Still giving it some thought.

Great work fellas. Playing a large 8 man game, and the map is working really well.

On my 1v1 game, I'll spare you the 19 vs 20 starting terits, I'm seeing a drop of 7 troops for me and my opponent is only getting 5 on the same spots. Sorry, I'm sure this has been pointed out, or will be addressed in the next update which should be soon.

I think i found a serious bug in this map.
In the German Bonus GFH is included N16..which makes it impossible to get it

It's not a bug as such ... it's just that this map cannot be played in trench fog mode as it's impossible to see the hospitals (either direction) or get accross the no-man's land. Only solution I can see is to allow an easier path over the no-man's land or to have portals ... ie the planes can bombard and deploy troops?

We are playing it with neither trench nor fog mode, but are still not receiving the bonus for the GFH bonus.

Also just curious why are hospitals a +2, but supply lines are a +3 even though they are the same difficulty and amount of regions to get?
Dice stats are irrelevant. If I roll the same amount of 6's as everyone else, but my opponents role 6's at the same time, that's what matters, what's rolled opposite my dice. How about how many total guys I've won and lost while attacking?
