First of all, awesome map. I'm sure the answer is somewhere in this thread, but in a 1v1 game, or the two players supposed to have different amount of starting troops?

Also, the German Hospital Bonus for some reason includes N16?

Yea i noticed this too...

I started the game, but I have 45 troops and 19 terts... opponent has 54 troops & 20 terts and he hasn't even gone yet... fix this please..

This is true, and I suffered a horrible fate of bad dice and glitched bonuses (German Hospital doesn't work) and was bitterly destroyed by Grifftron.

Also, the plane won't bombard FF2 for some reason. And A1 can attack A2 and reverse, but L1 cannot attack L2 or reverse.

As for the uneven troops, this is to counter the uneven bonuses for both sides. Also, the neutrals for both sides are slightly uneven. Will fix the bonus (hospital) and bombardment. Was worried about this and spoke to flaps. Will get a new xml done today (at work now and do not have the file with me) and post it tonight. The xml was written with the 1v1 game in mind but it might be too much of a bad thing for the other games.

Im not home for a week and can do grafix to the map, so if any issues with that, it have to wait, sorry. But it sound as only XML trouble atm.

This should correct the bonus situation (german field hospital).
It also removes all the programmed neutrals from both sides, apart from planes and cannons.
Places a max of 2 onto the fox holes. Just below the bonus line. The rest are a neutral 2.
All troops will now start at 3. All players will now start at all sides of the board.
Will keep a close eye on how it now plays.

Something to think about for you flaps, how about the fox hole bonuses being for each side. So 3 on the german side or 3 on the british side to kick in the bonus?

Right now, the bonus is to hold any 3. So you could hold 2 from the Germans and one from the British side to get the bonus. Why not make it hold 3 from the German or British side.

Ok I get what you say, that would make it harder to claim a fox-hole bonus, not nesserly a bad thing. let me chew on it to I get home next sauterday. ;)

Maby we can get some more inputs for that idea mean while :!:

i just played a game on this map with a friend a couple quick issues german hospital still does not work right and i think the advantage in troops for germans is too high (just my thought). i was american the first and won pretty easy but it was my friends 9th game so he is still a rookie the second i am german and already have a big lead in game just my 2 cents.
i love we finally got AA otherwise known now as trench YES!!!!!

Do you know when the map is going to update? I have a turn in 20 hours and I want the troops for my bonus. :P

Interesting map and I look forward to giving it a try whenever I get back to this site. I do have one concern though and I apologize if it's been brought up already, but I can't take the time to go through the thread and check. In Trench Warfare games, if a player gets eliminated from one side, they have no way of attacking or bombarding the AFH and GFH territories. This could likely end up causing a stalemate.

To solve this problem, either the AFH and GFH territories should be bombardable by an opposing airplane or the site should be set up to disallow Trench Warfare games on this map.

The trench setting does not take effect on killer neutrals, so a person can stack on one side, then move across the killer neutrals in one turn and get to the other side.

also probably the most lame map for 1v1
