AoN, I concur --- it looks beautiful and I have a message already composed, just waiting to post on Nathan's wall to tell him how marvelous it is, however, I can't - in good conscious - do that until I have played it and no one is willing to play on it.

People are treating this as a Museum Map - look but don't touch.

Congrats on a great map. Won a foggy game http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=11056374

One potential bug, may have been mentioned, apologies if it has.

Foggy game and Scandinavia incorrectly showed me how many soldiers an opponent had deployed there. With no adjacent territeries owned. I think it was either when I took Germany or Scotland. Sorry should have made a note of it.

Sorry didn't make myself clear. Troops at South Sweden showed up from either germany or scotland even though they ate not connected?

Well if that's true then it's a game bug, not a map bug, but I have a feeling you probably held some territory next to it without realizing... South sweden connects to Denmark, Norway and Norrland. Maybe you held one of those.

If you can recreate the bug, report it in bug reports.

I have basically become a monster on Eurasia Mini. No one can beat me on it. It's lifted me from being a Cadet to whatever I am now.

Beautiful maps, natty. I notice a couple people have asked about Italy. It's definitely easy to not notice the stripes, for two reasons: the colors are pretty similar and the stripes run the same way as the shape of the peninsula. If they were oriented differently it would be more obvious, but you have all the striped territories at the same angle, so changing one would probably require changing them all. It seems to me that 90 degrees counterclockwise or 45 clockwise would be the two best options. Maybe it's too late to mess with, but just thought I'd put it out there.

Since there is less land area for the stripes to stand out, perhaps simply more contrast between the two colors can help highlight the stripes.

Eurasia-mini is a great map. Small maps are better imo as it forces the action more than bigger maps.

First off I love these maps. I wanted to make a suggestion about Hungary: could it be made into a 3-way split? Hungary has historically been very important to Central Europe as well. (Having been part of a political entity with Austria and all. A rather influential one.)

It would be an interesting nuance for The West.

Not going to happen, sorry. It'd be awkward both graphically and gameplayatically.

Instead of making Hungary more important, can we just quench the maps?

I feel like the answer is obvious, but I'm not seeing it.

Crimea, the little sea under sea under Southeastern Europe, only borders Ukraine..? It's the only one I was able to assault to, and I don't see anything on the map to suggest why that is (played on big Eurasia, specifically, Game 11266330) :-s

crimea is not "the little sea" it's actually the little peninsula bordering only ukraine.
that sea is actually called back sea.

Dim is correct - there are no sea territories on the maps.
