Possibly because of the connections with a game that saf has all knowledge of.

Well, that particular link would warrants a warning to Saf as he shouldn't speak of any games actually running, whatever the case is. But, in this one case, it doesn't even speak of ANY info related to it. He simply pointed the fact Vodean is prone to quick claiming.

So..no harm done, IMO.

Just playing CYA if a shitstorm develops and I have to clean things up. In plain terms the post meant "keep it clean, but no one is doing anything bad yet." Anyhow, I'll shut up now and get a VC in the morning.

Unvote my joke vote. This is only the second game I'm in with Vodean, so I have no meta knowledge.

Was my validation. I'm bringing up the possibility that vodean could claim at odd times, whether or not this signals town or scum varies quite a bit from game to game. But anyways, we seem to be out of jokevote now, so I suppose that was that.

pancake wrote:I thought Celtic and Norse were practically the same thing(?)

Only in the sense that most polytheistic religions are pretty similar. The problem with Celtic is that the Romans destroyed much of the writings, so info is pretty sparse. If anything, I would say Celtic isn't so doomsday obsessed. In Irish mythology, The Dagda is the main god, and symbolic of what men should strive to be, but he's also good-humored, which is probably more than can be said for Odin.

He did withdraw his vote. He voted you because you have a history of claiming at random times without pressure which is usually not good for the town.

I don't really see how someone could mistake a vote while quoting the vote count, that's slightly odd... :-s

I don't like either case. I don't think safari meant to imply anything about his own game and in general I am against voting someone for something they have yet to have done

1. What do you all think of day 1 joke stages?

2. Is there anyone you consider particularly suspicious at this point and why?
