But seriously, we are your friend and yeah some of the 2008 forums were fun, However a few kept pushing the boundaries and as things spiralled out of control, the admins and moderators of the time had to reign the forums back in, which gave us what we have now.
The forums are forever evolving, however with a community of this size you can never please 100% of the people unfortunately.

The forums are forever evolving, however with a community of this size you can never please 100% of the people unfortunately.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm very much pleased with the state of CC today. Sometimes it's just fun to hide behind a ficticious internet identity and blow off some steam at people!

I used to really enjoy the back and forth banter there. Some of my favorites included:

Owenshooter - Before he was the self proclaimed "black jesus" of CC and most zealous bigot hunter on the site, he was actually really fun to flame with.
Lord Voldemort - president and CEO of Australia's Harry Potter fan club. He must be, what, 16 by now?
The Prowler - I recently re-connected with him during a friendly game we played. Turns out that he's actually a hell of a nice guy, not the massive dickhead I once thought.
Dancing Mustard - Provided the gold -- err -- mustard standard for flaming.
Qyu - One word. Bounty!
JOHNNYROCKET24 - One of the greatest CC players ever on here. But made himself a huge target in the FW for frivolously accusing anyone who ever beat him of being multis or somehow cheating.
Happy2seeyou - Just a massive, massive, MASSIVE hooker.

Anyway, flaming back and forth with all those folks and others used to really get me through the work day. I have a lot of respect/hatred for all of them. Now all I can do is yell at the dice while I read about everyone's thoughts on Trayvon Martin.
